Dr. Swetha Sama is originally from North Carolina and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Boston University. In 2011, Dr. Sama relocated to Austin to be closer to family and to get away from the long New England winters! Dr. Sama enjoys practicing general dentistry and helping her patients achieve the best possible oral health. She strives to create fun and uncomplicated dental experience for all her patients. In addition, she values being a life long learner and stays up-to-date with the latest dental advancements by attending continuing education courses and being an active member of the Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society and the Women of Austin Dental Society. Dr. Sama joined Legend Dental in early 2014, and is excited to be a part of a team of experienced doctors and staff who share her values on providing quality comprehensive dental care to their patients. During her time out of the office, Dr. Sama enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring all the great things Austin and Central Texas has to offer!

Dr. Sama and her staff were great, but the Zoc Doc appointment did not show up on their records. They made time and saw me anyway, which I was thankful for, but they said this is not the first time Zoc Doc appointments have not gotten on their schedule. I will be making my appointments directly with the office next time.

Dr Sama is very conscientious and skillful. I have been having extensive work done and it's almost complete - a year long process. She has always made me aware of the next steps in the treatment plan and has done a complete job each step of the way. She takes the time to explain and then to make sure it's done right, unlike some dentists I have gone to in the past. Sylvia on the admin side, and the dental assistants are friendly and helpful as well. It's hard to find a good overall dental practice but I feel like I found the best.

Everyone was nice, knowledgable and the office is new and clean. I got x-rays, exam and a cleaning for $98 total (no insurance used). I picked Swetha somewhat randomly and I'm always skeptical of new dentists, but I left happy.

Doctor Sama was very nice and helpful. The office is clean and the staff are extremely kind and easy to talk to. My overall experience was great! This was my first time ever changing to a new dentist, I have been going to the same office and doctor since I was born, but in this change, everyone in this office made my first appointment very easy and relaxing. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new dentist.
