Always at least an hour+ wait. Cleanings are very rushed. Depending upon the particular hygienist, regular cleanings can be quite painful. Staff are friendly and courteous. Dr. Venterina is knowledgeable and professional.

Folks its no secret i have been using zocdoc for a long time and i fill out all the forms and at the doctors offices they have no record of my forms which i have to re apply all forms again at the doctors office. And 2nd issue i have is that if you have MEDICAID INSURANCE all doctor offices treat you like a 2nd class citizen. My appt was at 10am i wasnt scene until 12pm. Im going to talk to the american board of dentistry and see if those kinds of practices is normal.

Bensonhurst location conveniently just a couple blocks from subway. Clean office and friendly staff. Hardly any wait time. Same day cleaning and regular check up consultation went well. Would return for basic services.

Everyone was very nice. However they seemed to be unaware of my appt when I got to the office. I was in the waiting room for over 45 minutes and waiting in the examine room for over 20. When the Dr. came in she barely examined me. I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years and felt I deserved more time and a more through examination.... Especially after waiting over an hour.

When I arrived they told me YOU at ZOCDOC cancelled my appointment....but they would take me anyway....I made an appt on the 22nd of March and then when this one opened up I cancelled and took the March 1st appt ....and I told them this.

I am a new patient,it was taken time to fill up the paper and insurance checking via phone by front office. I think it should be organized about the appointment. It probably was very busy today because everyone front of me spent almost one hour to see doctor.

I have been to this location twice and both times have had to wait over 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Both times patients coming in after me have gone before me. During my last visit, the dentist called the nurse working with me away to work with another patient. I was left with an x-ray machine pointed at my head and a x-ray plate in my mouth. I guess the other patient was more important. Lastly my follow up appointment for a filling was rescheduled twice, one of which I didn't even know about until I called to confirm! Good thing I didn't just show up for my appointment! Absolutely awful and I wouldn't want anyone else to be inconvenienced and disrespected the way I was.

I am very upset with the office of Valerie Venterina in Staten Island. Whenever I schedule an appointment on Zocdoc, I always getting a phone call to reschedule for another appointment 3-8 weeks later! They really need to make better appointments with Zocdoc and not call the patient every single time to reschedule!
Also, they overbook. I walked out of the office and had to miss my appointment because the 1.5 hour wait (after your appointment time) is absolutely ridiculous. I had a 12:00 appointment, went in at 11:15 and at 1:00 I was still waiting! The waiting room is so small and cramped, it was uncomfortable being there that long.
No matter how good the dentist is, I don't have time to waste. Her office staff should not overbook!

I have to be honest after reading some of the reviews she has received I was a little worried on what to expect but I've always been the kind of person to judge for myself. I had an 11am appointment where there was a short wait apx 35min I was taken in for my ex rays and then given a report my Ms. Venterina on what work I'd need done. They usually do not do cleanings on the 1st initial visit but because they had an opening they did my cleaning. Since I was a child I have extremely bad anxiety when going to dentists. She and her staff were amazingly patient and understanding with me and made me feel as calm as possible. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who has anxiety about seeing a dentist. She gets 5 stars in my opinion.

I waited a very long time because the the dentist was on the phone. Xrays were taken and an assessment made based on that but no physical exam was done by her. I have to go back in 2 weeks so I will see how that goes and whether I remain in this practice.

We arrived 5 minutes early and were made to wait 35 additionally minutes. Someone was taken in before us who said she had just called in that morning. After the doctor saw her she left the office for 10 minutes. When I complained to the male office assistant he just shrugged. No apology. After my second complaint he stated that they were running behind. With no energy or effort. Completely monotone.

I honestly doubt the sincerity of the doctor. I wanted to talk more about her input on my teeth situation and she just kept talking about making sure my insurance covers my treatment she recommended. I act like a baby when I go to doctors and I'm scared of surgeries and so on and all my doctors treat me with understanding but I never expected the way she treated me.

I was a little disappointed that I showed up and was told by Jada that I didnt have an appt. when,in fact, it was booked through zocdoc. and I receieved a confirmation that i did have an appt. However, they did see me. Was then again disappointed that I had taken xrays only 8 months ago from a previous dentist and sent my xrays to this dentist but I was told i still needed to take another full set again anyway. Aside from these 2 issues, the cleaning was okay (used to my previous hygienist taking a little more time with my teeth). But, everyone seemed to be very nice. Thank you zocdoc for sending me confirmation that i did have an appt!

I had a great experience from the minute I walked in the door. The staff was attentive and friendly. The state if the art technology allowed the dr to access all X-rays in seconds. The office was immaculate. The dr was very nice and thorough, I didn't feel rushed. I was very satisfied with my visit and so happy I switched dentists to Dr. Venterina

I was very nervous about going to the dentist but I felt quite calm when interacting with the staff. Everyone there was very friendly and warm. Dr.Venterina was gentle during the exam and explained everything thoroughly. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was that I have to go back two separate days. One for my cleaning and another for some fillings. But I honestly don't mind because I liked the staff and doctor so much.

So after waiting for 2 hours the doctor came and asked me what I'm here for, I told her I need teeth cleaning, so she looked at my teeth and then told me to make another appointment. That really pissed me off, I waited 2 hours for the doctor to tell me I need to make another appointment? and on top of that the closest open date is a month from now. That was a complete waste of my time. Will be changing to another dentist .
