Dr. Blidman was absolutely excellent. The location of the practice, however, is terribly inconvenient and I much prefer a full service multi-specialty dental practice so that I don't get referred all over the city for various procedures.

My visit with Dr. Blidman was on a Saturday morning, so I was braced for grumpy people unhappy about working on the weekend. I am happy to say I was wrong.
The two folks working at the front desk were efficient and friendly, zipping through insurance and intake. They were totally unfazed about my having used up several relevant categories of benefits with another dentist recently, instead helping me figure out how to get maximal coverage from what's left.
Mary, one of the hygienists, thoroughly reviewed the history and other paperwork I had filled out, talking with me about good prevention and general dental self-care practices. She cheerfully uploaded to my chart the xrays I had brought on USB, a feat that anyone who's ever worked with health software knows is impressive. She also efficiently collaborated with Dr. Blidman to record/figure out complexities in my dental exam + imaging (I probably have more cavities/fillings than years I've been alive, and I'm no spring chicken either).
Dr. Blidman was excellent. She talked me through probey-pokey parts very calmingly and explained things well, both the facts as they stood and how she was thinking of prioritizing my many dental issues. She proposed relatively few things that require action sooner rather than later, and what could simply be monitored/managed conservatively, and we agreed that seemed about right (I guess she has patients who are much more conservative or aggressive about dental care, so she accommodates both). All in all, a good experience.
