Doctor Vuong is very patient and answers all my questions, the treatment I got there was great. However, the staff there filed a pre-authorization letter to my insurance without my consent. Later, I got a letter from my insurance stating all the cost which was a total surprise. I didn't ask for the services nor agreed to submit a pre-authorization letter. So that bothered me a bit.

Dr. Victoria Vuong graduated from the University of Southern California with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1997. She practiced in the Los Angeles area for six years before moving back to the Bay Area where she has practiced for the last twelve years. She is happy to be affiliated with Dental Zone Mountain View as one of their general dentists for the past six years. Everyone associated with Dental Zone Mountain View works hard at their job to bring the best service they can to all the patients there.
Dr. Vuong emphasizes good oral hygiene to prevent as much dental treatment as possible; however, everyone is unique, and it is natural to have to upkeep dental work throughout one’s life. Therefore, Dr. Vuong has honed her skills in diagnosing and doing many dental procedures that benefit her patients: crowns, implant crowns, onlays, veneers, bridge work, fillings, scaling/root planing, extractions, denture prostheses, and hygienic prophylaxis. She keeps herself updated with the latest information in dentistry by continually taking classes in all different fields of dentistry.
Dr. Vuong’s goal is to provide thorough, careful, compassionate dental care for all of her patients – children and adults, alike. Many of her patients have complimented her and appreciated her for her gentle care, detailed care, and beneficial meticulous explanations of their treatment plan. Dr. Vuong believes that with diligence everyone can achieve healthy, functional, satisfying teeth and gingiva. A healthy mouth is so important to everyday life, thus she encourages all her patients to be attentive and seek dental checkups and cleanings as recommended by their dentist. Dr. Vuong is more than glad to explain, encourage, and guide her patients to attain and maintain good dental health.

Later on, she call me to change the appointment.
That is not professional, and wastes my time.

My family loves this dentist! She is patient and explains clearly what is going on during the appointment. She answers any and all questions, and does not make you feel bad for asking - she's happy to explain until you understand. She has a wonderful personality! We are so glad to have discovered this practice and Dr. Vuong!

Professional and informative. Dr. Vuong walked me through her observations, concerns and recommendations. She showed me x-rays and handed me a mirror to see the problem areas: recessed gums, staining, tartar build up, and bone loss. Her explanations and visual references helped me understand why work had to be done. Cleaning was done mostly effectively and satisfactorily. I have yet to get a more complicated procedure done, but will have fillings done in the future.
My only negative experience was the promptness of the appointment. I had scheduled an 8AM appointment so that I wouldn't have to wait. I had received 4 appointment reminders from phone call, text, and e-mail, and I expected that I would be able to start my appointment promptly. The office opened at 8:05AM. Dr. Vuong arrived at 8:10AM.

Every time I come in for a dental procedure, I am greeted by name, I treated professionally and I go away with the confidence of knowing how I'm doing "dentally". It is a good thing to be able to relax when visiting the dental office and Dr. Vuong fosters that sense of calm.
