I was very impressed with Dr. Kamanin and his staff. It was my first visit to his office and everything went absolutely perfectly! Dr. Kamanin was professional, friendly and thorough...and his assistant was equally exceptional. Galina, the receptionist, was also very efficient and personable.
I highly recommend Dr. Kamanin and his staff!

No post-surgery care instructions (i had stitches, they gave me no paperwork, no care instruction, no follow-up call, and didn't let me know if they were the type of stitches that dissolved or the type needed be removed). Witnessed the receptionist arguing with the dental hygienist argue loudly. Old equipment (x-ray machine) that was painful to use.

The hygienist was very inexperienced and resulted in x-rays taking a very long time. Dentist told me I needed a mouthguard because I grind my teeth (my previous dentist of 25 years never suggested so) and said my insurance "covered it". Called my insurance company and found out that yes they will pay for 50% of it...
Overall I felt like I was getting upsold and misled.

Dr. Kamanin was great and professional. Having only been to one other dentist my entire life, it's tough to have multiple benchmarks for comparison, but the wait time was minimal, and he explained everything going on each step of the way. I'd recommend him if you're looking for a dentist in the area.
