Dr. Xiao has been practicing dentistry since 2005 and truly loves her profession. She has found her passion in family, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry, which allows her to diagnose and treat the root causes of oral health issues and create a smile which epitomizes the beauty in each individual.
She is proficient in a wide range of state-of-the-art dental procedures and techniques and committed to pursuing continuing education at the highest level. She is also a member of numerous prestigious organizations including the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, the California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
One of her passions in life is charity. She was president of her dental school's community outreach project. She has also been a dental provider every year for the Give Kids A Smile program in the Bay Area. She has provided free dental care to over 500 kids from Richmond to Santa Rosa to Livermore. She is also an active member of Alliance For Smiles, a non-profit organization dedicated to repairing broken smiles of children affected by cleft lip and cleft palate in under-served areas of the world.
She lives in San Ramon with her husband, Felix, and her kids, Robbie and Abbie. They love taking long walks with our dog, Schnitzl, along the trails of the tri-valley. She also loves to garden and is very proud of her ever-flowering roses.

I have been seeing Dr. Xiao for the last 2 or 3 years. She personally cleans my teeth, her exam is thorough and the tools she uses are the latest and most sophisticated. Even when I have had more than a cleaning, it hasn't hurt to have her work on my mouth. She is fast and efficient but also friendly and personable as is all of her staff. I try and schedule my California visits from Arizona to coincided with my need to see her. I highly recommend her.

I have a high degree of anxiety about dental visits, had some very bad experiences with dentists in the past. My son & husband recommended Dr. Xiao. Dr. Xiao was very understanding at the initial consult and gave my a prescription to relive my anxiety before the appointment to replace some broken fillings. She was very careful to check my comfort level during the entire procedure. I would recommend her very highly.

I found Dr. Xiao on Yelp after checking with my insurance company on which dentists took my insurance. I was apprehensive about finding a new dentist when I moved to this area about 3 months ago. Dr. Xiao is amazing. I liked her from the moment I met her. She is competent, efficient, and has a very warm personality. The office is modern, large, and clean and the staff is professional and friendly. The best part of it all is the little dog, Nadar(?). He slept on my lap the entire I was in treatment, which was almost 2 hours. Patting him relieved some of the anxiety one experiences at the dentist. And just now I received a follow up call from Dr. Xiao to check on how I am doing. Who does that?

My appointment was for a filling and also a crown, Dr Xiao and her assistant Alex were excellent throughout. Every step was explained clearly, and I never felt the slightest bit of anxiety - which for me is amazing....usually a Dentist visit is quite traumatic! In part, this was helped by her gorgeous little dog who sat on my lap for most of the procedure....he's a lovely companion and I'm sure, helped to calm me.

Read countless reviews until I decided to try Dr . Xiao . Hands down the best experience I've ever had at the dentist !! From the minute you walk through the door you are warmly greeted and offered water or coffee. I sat down for no longer than it took me to put my purse down and grab a magazine and I was already called to go in . She cleans your teeth herself and is very gentle and most importantly very thorough . She even puts chapstick on your lips when they get dry as she's working in your mouth !! I had a few fillings and felt no pain as she numbed the area .. Wow!! Truely exceptional and I can't forget her warm and kind staff . So glad I found Dr . Xiao I will never go anywhere else :-)

I recently transferred to Dr. Xiao's office after relocating to the Livermore area and have been very impressed with her and her staff. As one example, my previous dentist was never able to numb my lower teeth completely for fillings and blamed it on my clenching habit. However, Dr. Xiao employed different techniques that kept me pain free during the process. I also don't think I've ever received so much personal attention from any of my previous dentists. Bottom line: I highly recommend Dr. Xiao.
