Very good experience, when I got there I was welcomed right away and seen 30 mins earlier than my booked appointment. The staff is very friendly and took care of me right away. I would highly recommend them to family or friends.

My experience at Channing Dental was phenomenal! Right away I was greeted by friendly front desk staff Kiana and Sara, who also helped answer all of my questions regarding next steps and follow-up appointments and questions about payments. I started with my cleaning from hygienist Shane, and he was one of the best hygienists I've ever worked with! He was extremely fast with the x-rays and cleanings, and answered all of my questions that I had. Finally I was seen by Dr. Nguyen who also performed my fillings, and she was amazing as well! I'm so glad I found a great new dentist that I can rely on and look forward to visiting for years to come!

The front desk staff were very sweet but most of the dental staff was impatient and kept blaming me for being behind schedule. Additionally it felt like they were talking behind my back rather than communicating issues to me directly. I was also surprised that when they asked me to remove my oral piercings (without asking how long I’ve had them) they didn’t offer any gloves or hand sanitizer before or after which can easily lead to the spread of bloodborne pathogens. Overall I just felt bad during and after my visit, I will not be returning.

Had to return to Berkeley from A train trip because of broken molar. Dr. Nguyen had an emergency appointment available immediately. She X-Rayed tooth, ascertained that it had been infected for awhile and had an abscess. We decided to extract it and replace it with an implant. She numbed the tooth area and extracted it, cleaned abscess out, added graft, and sutured it. She called in A prescription for antibiotics. I paid for extraction and made arrangements for implant. Left about 2 hours after the time of the appointment. I was quite pleased with the whole experience.

Everyone, all the staff has been incredibly kind and professional. There can be anxiety or shame when we have dental health issues, and everyone helped ease those worries. Very grateful beyond words and Channing Dental has my gratitude and loyalty.

I was so pleased w/ Dr Nguyen's care in her curiosity about my actual questions and the personal and thorough attention she gave in answering them. In my 45 years of seeing dentists, her specific and relevant attention was so core and appreciated. Thank you Dr. Nguyen. For the first time, Im actually looking forward & coming back to see my dentist!!
