My family and I have been to Dentists on Washington several times since my first appointment with Dr. Costello in December. He and his wife are both excellent dentists - gentle and quick but thorough. Their office is fully equipped with state of the art exam rooms and panoramic x-ray machine. Super clean, pleasant office and great staff across the board. They work with you to figure out how to tackle your dental plan if you need several fillings, a crown etc - to space out the visits and keep it affordable. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. William Costello III, DMD is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry. During the graduation ceremony, Dr Costello was the recipient of the Auerbach Memorial Award given to the senior student who showed strong moral character, clinical and academic excellence. Since this time, Dr Costello has practiced in Center City and New Jersey. He has voted part of Top Dentists of South Jersey by South Jersey Magazine for 2011 and 2012 and Top Dentists of Philadelphia in 2014. Dr. Costello takes great pride in offering patients high quality care and a comfortable dental experience. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and surfing as much as possible.

Very professional, clean, courteous. I'm not a dental price wiz, but even with my dental insurance his prices out of my pocket are still high. I will be shopping around before I get any work done. If money isn't an issue for you I would highly recommend.

I went to visit Dr. Ngo for an initial consultation. I told her my history of tooth grinding - that I had worn off a lot of enamel on my teeth (which left tiny brown spots on molars that sometimes looked like cavities) and need a new mouthguard to prevent grind. I also shared that I may need to get a filling fixed on my molar. I did not feel as though she listened to this history and instead told me I had approximately 5 cavities, needed a root canal, and needed to get my wisdom tooth pulled. I went to my former dentist to get a second opinion. He shared that I only needed a filling repaired and encouraged me not to get my wisdom tooth pulled.

I would highly recommend Dr. Costello. He was friendly, thorough, and listened to all my concerns. The office staff was great too. They came up with a treatment plan for me which clearly showed how much my insurance would cover, and how much I would have to pay. Then they went over it with me, gave me a few options, and even a small discount. Definitely one of my better dental office experiences! They even have tablets attached to the light fixture so you can watch Netflix while you get your teeth cleaned. Very helpful if you're the anxious type.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Costello and he was fantastic. Short wait and one of the best cleanings I've had in years. I just moved to Philly and thankful for using Zocdoc to find a great dentist. My wife will be scheduling her appointment next.
