Dr. Wilson Aguilar-Garcia was born in Peru and completed dental school in Lima in 1999, with a degree in prosthodontics. In 2001 he moved to the United States and completed his advanced Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California where he graduated with honors and received awards in fixed and removable prosthodontics.
He is proficient in English and Spanish and that allows him to explain procedures and treatments in both languages. He can provide comprehensive treatment in all specialties of general and esthetic dentistry including full mouth reconstructions, teeth whitening, dental fillings, root canals, crown and bridge restorations, simple and surgical extractions, dental implants, and removable complete and partial dentures.
Dr. Aguilar-Garcia is also a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve. On weekends you can find him at Andrews Air Force Base providing dental care to members of the military and he hopes to one day serve on one of the Navy’s humanitarian missions around the world.

The friendliest and best dentist I have ever been to! The staff was great and the doctor was extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing throughout the exam and was friendly and gentle. I plan to make him my permanent dentist and recommend my family.

I usually hate the dentist but dare I say he made a trip to the dentist…Enjoyable?! Great bedside manner, very friendly, nice staff, newly renovated office. I am definitely planning to use him as my dentist again!

I've been a patient of Dr. Garcia for 2 years now. His new location in Springfield is very easy to get to. The office is very clean, comfortable, and sporting brand-new, industry standard equipment. His staff are all very welcoming, polite, and courteous. The best part, of course, is Dr. Garcia. He has an extraordinary bed-side manner - makes you feel right at ease, explains everything to you, checks on your comfort throughout the entire exam/procedure, and listens to all your questions and answers them thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia - he's well worth the drive from anywhere in NoVa!
