I am always super nervous about the dentist. The staff in this office were great at calming my nerves and making me feel comfortable! Kudos to Emanuel and Dr. Stringer (sorry if I misspelled).

I am not going to lie going into this appointment I was a little skeptical from all the bad reviews I read, but that was soon dismissed. I walked in and was greeted by a nice gentleman who was very patient and understanding and very knowledgeable. He was not rude and helped me with a few questions that I had about the insurance. The dental assistant was also very knowledgeable and answered all questions that I had. The dentist was amazing! She explained things that I did not even know about, way better than my last dentist. I would highly recommend this place to everyone as Gold Coast was amazing and definitely made me feel very welcome and looking forward to my next appointment.

Unprofessional and completely inconsiderate of patients’ time.
I originally booked a 4:30pm appointment for 4/2. A day later, they called saying they “got rid of the 4:30 slot” and moved me to 4pm, so I rearranged my work schedule. Then on the day of, they called again offering 1:30 or 2. I said I could come at 3. They told me they couldn’t do my cleaning at 3pm. When I said to keep my 4pm appointment (why would I miss work for no cleaning), suddenly after putting me on hold, they could do the cleaning at 3pm.
So not only could they not honor the original time they listed as available, they couldn’t even honor the time they rescheduled me to—and then tried to pressure me into coming earlier by only agreeing to provide services if I did.
If the staff wants to leave early before a holiday, fine. But don’t list late-day appointments you won’t honor. The constant changes and contradictions were unprofessional and a waste of my time.

I used zocdoc to find a periodontist. This office, 30 minutes away was the only location to show on the map. I booked, waited, got x-rayed just to be informed that there is no periodontist on site. Zocdoc provided incorrect unfit prolonging me from getting the help I need.

I was late by 7 minutes for my first visit, but I had already informed the office ahead of time. When I arrived, the front desk told me they had booked two patients for the same doctor at the same time, so they could not do my cleaning that day. Instead, they only took X-rays and asked me to book another appointment for the cleaning, which was frustrating since I had driven 40 minutes to get there.
Another concern is that the dentist shown on ZocDoc was not the doctor who actually saw me. The doctor I saw seemed to have difficulty with the cleaning and repeatedly mentioned that my tongue was in the way, something no previous dentist has ever told me. This made me question the overall quality and trustworthiness of the care provided.
I wish these scheduling and treatment policies had been explained up front, as it would have saved me both time and frustration.

The facility was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and safe and any concerns I brought up were addressed. The machinery was out of this world, I appreciated having the vests to help with radiation. It was a great experience.

from the moment you walk in, you are treated with kindness and openness about cost. The receptionist is probably the most helpful person I've ever encountered in healthcare. All staff and doctors are kind, patient, and clear. And they put on a movie for me to watch in the chair.

They suck & are terribly unprofessional! I called initially because I rescheduled my appointment from 12:30 to 12 pm, so I wanted to make sure that the change went through. They hung up 5 seconds after I started speaking. I called again, the second receptionist was fine. I live in Plano, so this drive was going to take me about 30 minutes. When I’m about 4 minutes away from the place, they call me to tell me that the doctor is cancelling my appointment because she’s not feeling well. Three minutes before the 15 minutes early that I’m supposed to show up! I should’ve been told at least 30 minutes in advance so I did not waste my time driving. They asked me if I wanted to do the paper work, and I said fine. But I left before even getting the paperwork because I was tired of their lack of compassion and concern for me as a NEW patient. When I got there, they did not even express any condolences for me driving so far. All I wanted was a routine check, but I left angry and disappointed.
