I had bad experience with dentist before just not being comforting enough with procedures you're new to. But here, they're so understanding and whether it's kids or adults they make the environment extremely comfortable. I literally drive an hour for my visits and don't mind at all because the level of comfort and professionalism even on busy days is exceptional.

Dr. Yasmin Kanani was born in the UK, grew up in Iraq, and moved to Chicago in 1999. She graduated from the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad in 1997 before moving to Chicago. There, she joined the International Dentists Program at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, and completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Kanani’s passion for oral health and overall general health stems from growing up surrounded by healthcare professionals. Both her parents and older brother are doctors and her younger brother is also a dentist. Dealing with diverse people every day offers a unique challenge, and Dr. Kanani is excited to meet those challenges and expectations. She finds it highly rewarding to change someone’s life with the care she provides.
Dr. Kanani’s professional memberships include the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Dental Implant Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Fox River Valley Dental Association. She is also an associate pre-fellow member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kanani’s commitment to continuing education focuses on implants, prosthodontics, endodontics, and all aspects of general dentistry in order for her to provide the best possible care for her patients.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Kanani loves spending time with her husband and three lovely children. She also enjoys traveling, working out, and being active in the community through work with the local schools.

Dr. Kanani is very accommodating and she's the only dentist I trust since she always explain the procedure if ever I will have one and she never push me to make decisions right away. She gives me options and is very considerate with her patient. She's very good of what she's doing and so calm and very professional.
