Great modern practice. I had been to another dentist in the DC metro area & was nervous now 1950's they were.
My son in law recommended Dr . Obholz. I was from out of state & had an urgent tooth problem that needed attention.
The office took me in right away & I experienced great expertise in referrals etc from this office. Definitely highly recommend.

Dr. Yelena Obholz received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and her D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She completed a residency at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where she did advanced work in periodontics, oral surgery and prosthodontics. She worked in private practice in Maryland before opening her own office in Washington DC.
Dr. Obholz is committed to keeping her dental skills up to date and spends many hours each year taking continuing dental education classes. She is currently enrolled in the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Obholz resides nearby in Kensington, MD with her husband and three children.

Dr. Obholz was amazing. I've had trouble with finding a good dentist and Dr. Obholz was exactly what I was looking for - Her treatment plans were based on what is best for me rather than trying to gauge me out of more money which is what I've experienced in the past. I highly recommend Dr. Obholz!

The atmosphere is warm & inviting - not like the dentist offices I visited growing up! My kids love it here even without the characters on the wall! The staff make you feel like family. They always provide you with information about different products without being pushy! I just love this office and all the staff in it! It is always easy to get an appointment. Dr. Obholz and her staff are a great team! They take the time to talk through the dental procedures prior to commencing the dental work and continue to check on the patient during the procedure to ensure you're doing ok. Dr. Obholz's office has some of the best technology that really helps the patient understand what's going on with their dental work.
Dr. Obholz's administrative staff take the time to work through your individual insurance coverage to ensure patience can make an informed financial and health care decision.

Parking sucks. $4 per hour you stay, find street parking. Everything else was great. The dentist actually cleaned my teeth, rather than the dental assistant.

Dr. Obholz always treats me with the best care. She was very attentive to my concerns and answered all of my questions thoroughly and professionally. She even asked me how my family was doing! The other staff members were just as friendly, always very engaging and helpful. I will definitely recommend Dr. Obholz to somebody looking for a new dentist!
