Dr. Yelena Ostrovsky graduated with honors from the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. After graduation, she practiced as an associate dentist for several years and served as a preclinical instructor at UOP Dental School before starting her own practice in San Francisco. She specializes in General and Cosmetic Dentistry as well as Dental Sleep Medicine and is Invisalign Certified.
Dr. Ostrovsky is dedicated to excellence in the field of dentistry and continues to further her education by taking continuing education courses annually in order to stay current with the latest dental advances and technology.
She is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She has also completed Advanced Education in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry through the Hornbrook Group.
Dr Ostrovsky lives in San Francisco with her husband, daughter and their pet fish, Nemo.

I have the most sensitive teeth! I spend almost every dentist office visit in pain..not this one! Very cautious of my sensitive spots and did a great job of explaining my options.

I had possible root canal treatments. She recommended me just cavity fillings saying I might need root canal on these later. She was little pushy and tried to pull me in to schedule an appointment the same afternoon. However I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out I do need a root canal on both teeth after all. The new doctor even referred me to a root canal specialist.

Dr. Y is fantastic! She is a great dentist. In addition to her great staff, I also appreciated her willingness to explain treatment options and how respectful she is with her patients. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Dr. Yelena Ostrovsky was very helpful, knew how much pain I was in and explained everything. Their receptionist was new, so it was a little difficult getting everything I needed-receipts, insurance info, etc, from her. But Dr. Ostrovsky was patient with her and explained the confusion that is dental insurance to me and really helped me out. Unfortunately they do not do oral surgeries here though.

She genuinely is the epitome of a compassionate professional who takes pride in doing thorough & quality dental work. As well compassionate towards her patients individual financial means, their fears and reservations of being in a dental chair and even beinng accomodating to scheduling conflicts.
In short, I've not had a personal dentist in decades. Thats all changed thanks to Yelena. As far as Im concerned, there's no other dentist in SF.

Dr. Orstrovsky and staff are wonderful. They are proactive and professional, and I actually enjoy my appointments - can't say that about most dentists.
