I am very pleased with my visit to U street Family Dentistry - the staff were all very kind and professional and the office is modern and centrally located. I would like to particularly recommend Cyndi, who performed my teeth cleaning in such a friendly and attentive manner. The moment Cyndi felt that I was somewhat uncomfortable she immediately switched to manually scaling my teeth instead of using the ultrasonic machine and she was so patient made sure to answer all my questions and helped me understand what benefits my insurance provides and how I can make a specific inquiry about coverage for a night guard. All and all I very much recommend Dr. Patricks and her staff and will definitely go back.

Dr. Yetunde Patrick is a general dentist hailing from the windy city of Chicago, IL. Dr. Patrick graduated from Spelman College with a BS in Biology, and later earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland-Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Her interest in dentistry has always been rooted in community, serving as SNDA President, Community Service Chair, and helping to establish the 1st Baltimore Oral Cancer Walk. For these endeavors, she was recognized and awarded the Dean community service award, Curtis Adam’s award and the nationally recognized Albert Schweitzer Fellowship.
Upon finishing her dental degree, she worked in community dentistry and private practice before starting her own office in Washington DC. Dr. Patrick is a firm believer in continuing education courses and travels throughout the country to enhance her skills on a variety of services such as: cosmetic bonding, crowns, rotary endodontic, and Invisalign.
Her love of health and wellness extends beyond the oral cavity. Dr. Patrick believes in an holistic approach to health, and is a fitness enthusiast. She loves practicing yoga, dance and core body conditioning. In 2013 Dr. Patrick became a certified group exercise fitness instructor by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, dancing, interior design and binge watching Netflix. She looks forward to meeting you!

I LOVED this office - something I never thought I would ever say about a dentist’s office. I was really nervous about coming in, but it was so refreshing to see such a compassionate and caring atmosphere. My receptionist (Indya) was so sweet and welcoming. My dental hygienist (Yolanda i think) was fantastic and my dental cleaning flew by. The dentist- Dr Yetunde Patrick - is the sweetest dentist I have ever met. She is so amazing at what she does and made me feel so welcome and heard. I never have written any reviews for any doctors, but Dr Patrick’s office is so amazing that I knew I had to. If you need any dental work, definitely visit Dr. Patrick and her team!!

Our daughter is almost 12 months so this was her first dentist visit ever, and we couldn't have been more pleased with Dr. Patrick and the staff. The location is convenient, the waiting room is bright and welcoming with toys, the examination room had a huge tv where they played one of her favorite baby programs, as well as another box of toys. Of course the facility was in immaculate condition. Dr. Patrick was so gentle and caring, the baby actually allowed her to brush her top and bottom row of teeth. She grew restless toward the end, but Dr. Patrick was so efficient and already finished the check up. I highly recommend them, and we will definitely be sticking with this office for our daughter's dental care needs!
