I found Dr Furman a few years ago through Zocdoc when she had just opened. She and her staff have been great. I've had everything from regular cleanings to a tooth extraction, and all of the care was great. This most recent visit I was with their new hygienist who did an awesome job. My teeth felt clean, the cleaning wasn't painful, and she explained each thing she was going to do and how it would feel before she did it. That helped reduce the anxiety we often feel around dentist visits. And I love the feel of clean teeth!

Dr. Furman was born in Ithaca, NY and raised in Toronto, Ontario by way of Copenhagen, Denmark and Tel Aviv, Israel. Growing up in Canada she attended McGill University but moved south for dental school, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following her graduation, Dr. Furman continued her clinical education by completing a dental residency at Long Island College Hospital in New York. She practiced in Brooklyn, New York before opening Promenade Dental Care.
Dr. Furman loves dentistry and enjoys the opportunity to provide comprehensive family dental care to adults and children, from cosmetic and implant dentistry to a young patient’s very first visit. In the office Dr. Furman understands that for many, visiting the dentist can be a stressful experience. Her relaxed demeanor, rapport with her patients both young and old, and her dedication to making her patients feel as relaxed as possible during their treatment will ease any worries about your visit. Dr. Furman’s passion for dentistry has given her patients a reason to smile.
In order to provide the best care possible for her patients, Dr. Furman keeps up with the latest in dental technology and education. She recently completed a prestigious two-year course at the New York University College of Dentistry in surgical and prosthetic treatment of dental implants.
As a respected member of the dental community, Dr. Furman maintains membership in a number of accredited and respected dental organizations, including The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association. She received the title of Fellow by the International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2014 and is honored to be part of a distinguished group of international dentists who both surgically place and restore dental implants.
When she is not in the office providing dental care, Dr. Furman enjoys spending time with her family, playing the violin, painting and traveling.

Dr. Furman found a problem in like 2 seconds. She did X-rays, and gave me a prescription. Everyone is very pleasant at her office - receptionists, assistants and doctors themselves. They make sure you are comfortable and put you at ease.

Having a tooth extracted was a slightly scary proposition. Dr. Furman not only did a great job with the procedure, but she talked me through what was going to happen both before and during the procedure. It ended up being painless (not what I had expected). I've used Dr. Furman as my regular dentist for a few years now, and have been nothing but impressed!

I have been to this office before and always have a good experience. This was the first time Dr. Furman performed the cleaning herself and she was wonderful. Great bedside manner, quick and pleasant. Her assistant was also extremely sweet, as was her front desk person.

This was my third or fourth visit to Dr. Furman, whom I found via Zocdoc. She's great! Explains what's going on with my teeth/gums, doesn't try to upsell me like so many dentists these days ("drill & fill"), and has a great staff. Had a new hygienist this time who was nice and thorough, and the front desk staff was super helpful, too. Highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Furman & staff are great! Two things I really liked about this group: 1) first-rate cleaning. My teeth felt great after, she consistently checked in during the cleaning to make sure it didn't hurt, and talked me through what she was doing. 2) didn't seem out to "drill & fill". The last dentist I went to told me I had 19 cavities I needed to fill asap (not true). I haven't had a cavity since I was a kid. Dr. Furman showed me which things I should keep an eye on, but wasn't out to try to make a bunch of extra cash off me on this visit.

Above all, she knows what she is doing but beyond that, she is the kindest dentist I have been to. Her office staff is wonderful also!! Very professional and friendly, takes the time to explain and listen to your concerns. She does the cleaning herself, which I feel is a big plus since it allows the dentist to really "get to know" your full dental picture. She also evaluated my gums by checking for pockets around each tooth. This was my first visit with Dr. Furman; I think I'll be in good hands....

Lots of parking, and I didn't have to wait. Staff was nice and friendly. Dr. Furman took the time to show me what was wrong on the screen and how she could fix it. I didn't feel pressure to do any cosmetic stuff like many of my past dentists have tried to push. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Furman is awesome! She is building out a practice, and has taken the time to get to know me and my family. My favorite part is that she is not like the "drill & fill" dentists i have seen in the past, who seem to want to try to do unnecessary work on my teeth.

I don't usually write reviews but want to say how pleased I have been with my care at Promenade Dental care. Dr Furman is warm, pleasant, caring bedside manner. She makes even the most painful dental work- as painless as possible.
Her office staff has been extremely friendly. Nicole is amazing and always helpful. Will keep referring people I know to their office.
