Dr. Yordanka Ivanova has dedicated over 10 years to providing her patients with quality dental care for a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles! You can rest assured that while Dr. Ivanova pursues excellence in dentistry, she also places great emphasis on being an honest, gentle, caring dentist who treats her patients, not just their teeth.
Dr. Ivanova earned her dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. She then went on to complete both a General Practice Residency and a Chief Residency at the Dental Clinic at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she currently serves as the Acting Program Director for General Dental Residents. In this capacity, she teaches, lectures, and supervises aspiring dentists on weekly basis. You may have seen her on local channel NY1 about the research study testing a new anesthetic reversal product called OraVerse.
Dr. Ivanova enjoys teaching and is committed to lifelong learning in the dental field. She talks at elementary schools to teach children the importance of good dental habits as a part of dental health awareness month. She is passionate about dentistry and enjoys treating children immensely.
Dr. Ivanova is a proud member of the American Dental Association, American General Dentistry Association, the Westchester Shore Study Club, the Greenwich Study Club/Seattle Study Club and the Queens County Dental Society.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young
children. She also has a love for ballet.

From booking our appointment to saying goodbye, everyone at the office was friendly, professional and welcoming. Dr Ivanova listened to our history, made appropriate recommendations, and didn't try to sell us any treatments or products that were not required - a refreshing change. She was very good with my daughter, advising her on preventative care of her teeth. I would definitely recommend her and we will book with her for future check ups and treatments. My only slight issue was that whilst we were on time for our appointment, we had to wait a while to be seen, however, both reception and Dr Ivanova did apologise for the delay, which I appreciate.

Dr. Ivanovoa's office was great, I would highly recommend it to anyone. I had a cleaning with Pam, the hygienist, and she was wonderful. Very thorough, and took the time to explain everything to me, which I really appreciated. I also appreciated that the office informed me that my insurance wouldn't cover xrays, and gave me the choice of getting them sent over from my prior dental office. After my cleaning Dr. Ivanova came to see me almost immediately. She was friendly and listened to my concerns. It didn't feel rushed at all. Will definitely be back if I ever have further dental issues.

I've had really a bad experience with a dentist so I've not gone to the dentist for years. I told the staff and dentist my story they listened and made sure I felt comfortable with every step. If you hate going to the dentist or haven't been for a long time, you should make an appointment. I'll be back in six months!
