Dr. Maria Seo began her patient care experience at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she worked as a Dental Clinic Volunteer. After completing her Bachelor of Science/Health Science degree at Stony Brook University, Dr. Seo received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. While educating and practicing in school, she participated various community outreaches in different states, where she provided free dental examinations, oral hygiene instructions, restorations and oral surgeries for neighborhood people. Dr. Seo completed her General Practice Residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. Here she performed comprehensive dental services, including implant and cosmetic dentistry, periodontal and endodontic therapy, emergency treatment ---among many others. Dr. Seo is versed in treating patients of all ages and conditions, including pediatric, geriatric and medically compromised individuals.
Dr. Seo has continued her education and expanded her experience through various continued education courses. She is licensed in New York State. She is also Invisalign Certified.
After hours Dr. Seo enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family. Swimming, jogging and bicycling are some of her favorite hobbies. Dr. Seo and her staffs are fluent in English, Chinese and Korean.
