On my 2nd visit to this dentist, I was seen very soon upon arriving and did not need to fill out any paperwork. Both visits were scheduled through ZocDoc and I did get text and call reminders about the appointment. The dentist was a little loose with mask wearing in the room, which I didn't really care for but the X-ray tech was considerate and kept her mask on the whole time. I would visit again but be clear if mask-wearing at all times is something that's important to you.

1. The office was very old-fashioned, including the dental equipment.
2. Even though I filled out the check-in information on ZocDoc, I still had to fill out their very long office questionnaire.
3. The machine was clogged with some kind of dirt/filth. When I was seated in the chair, she opened the filter compartment and stated that it needed to be cleaned due to an obstruction. She didn’t clean the machine and continued with the appointment. This made me uneasy because I had to use water from that machine.
4. The cleaning only took about 10/15 minutes. I don’t think that’s an adequate amount of time for a dental cleaning. Most places will spend at least 30 minutes for an annual cleaning.
Overall, I definitely will not be returning.

I came to the doctor with a sharp pain in my tooth. I was seen by medical assistant. Doctor herself just came in a rush, said that i have to do root canal, told me how much its going to cost. When i asked about my insurance she said it doesn’t cover and left with the same rush.
The same day I made an appointment with another dentist, he took a look and suggested to send a request to my insurance company at least to try, and i got coverage. If i didn’t go for second opinion I would lose 2 of my teeth.

This clinic sucks! They are concern with MONEY & the patient’s treatment is a BY-THE-WAY. I’ve been going to them since 2018 for a root canal. The dentist covered the tooth with temporary filling because she said they have to get an approval first. They said it would take weeks for the approval. I called them several times for the procedure before Freda the manager called saying it want’s approved but didn’t explain why. I went to them a second time hoping that they can justify the root canal & they said we need to process for approval again. They said they will call me of which they didn’t. When I scheduled another appointment to them they said that the root canal wasn’t approved but forgot to call me back. So we had to start all over, I called my dental insurance of the reason for disapproval & my insurance said the clinic didn’t provide the necessary support documents for the root canal. When I informed the clinic, of course they denied so another temporary filling was placed. In the meantime, I’m suffering because of this tooth. On December 2019 I happened to look at a letter unopened. It came from my dental insurance & it is stated that they paid a root canal procedure to this clinic on October 2019. I didn’t have any ROOT CANAL PROCEDURE DONE. I called them & they said they changed systems & that they noticed extra money without knowing where it came from. I told them I’m suffering from this tooth & they called back saying that there’s something wrong with the amount that the insurance paid & they can’t perform the procedure unless it is cleared & THAT THEY WILL CALL ME AGAIN. I spoke to Diana the secretary. Up to this day (3/10/20) they never called back. I’m sharing this in order for others to know that this Dentist TAKES MONEY ABOVE PATIENT CARE.

The office was empty when I got there, but as soon as I walked into the examination room, I noticed it was a bit unkempt. I also wasn’t entirely sure if the assistant wiped down the chair between patients. But what really bothered me is, the doctor began using a baking soda spray on my teeth, which sprayed all over my face, hair, and clothes, since the apron only covered my chest area. I left with baking soda in my nose and all over me. I think had to ask her to come back into the room to use the water pick to remove tartar I could feel on my teeth with my tongue. It was a bit outrageous! I am hoping this review will push them to step it up. Next time, warn your patients about this spray, or ask them if they’d even like to use it. I wasn’t expecting a baking soda shower, and glad I was going straight home after to shower. I would never go back here!

I was traumatized by my childhood dentist and feared coming to the dentist for many years. Dr Gotlieb has made me feel so comfortable that I now bring my entire family to see her. She is friendly and sweet and has a very welcoming personality. She has a very calm persona and makes you feel very comfortable. My 9 year old now looks forward to going to the dentist.
