It was my first appointment and I am one of those who avoid the dentist. I get anxious. The office was not crowded and pleasant waiting area. The staff is friendly and took good care of me. After having my x-rays I met with Dr. Dogus. He competed his examination and gave an thorough report of his findings and proposed multiple options for treatment. We scheduled follow up appointments.
It relieved my anxiety and I feel comfortable and confident about my future appointments.

Dr. Dogus is a clinical instructor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an Attending Prosthodontist at Montefiore Medical Center.
Following completion of dental school, Dr. Dogus went on to obtain post-graduate training in implant dentistry. Upon his move to the United States, he spent several years as a dental laboratory technician fabricating complex dental prostheses in New York. He then enrolled in Stony Brook University where he earned his DDS degree, and completed an elective course in Esthetics. He spent the following three years completing a full-time residency in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center where he was awarded a certificate in Prosthodontics, along with the Leo M. Davidoff Society Award. During his residency, he completed multiple research projects which were published, and well received nationally and internationally.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Dogus joined Stamford Dental Group, where he practiced full scope prosthodontics until he founded Comprehensive Dentistry of Westchester in 2012. He has lectured on a variety of topics in many different institutions and meetings, and was presented with a teaching award by the International Congress of Dental Technology. His articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals "Journal of Dental Research", and "Journal of Prosthodontics". He has challenged and successfully passed part 1 of the American Board of Prosthodontics Examination and has established board eligibility. In 2009, he became an associate fellow of the prestigious Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and in 2012 he was elevated to full fellowship.
Dr. Dogus maintains active memberships with specialty organizations in prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He is a clinical instructor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and teaches courses titled “Esthetic Concepts in Prosthodontics” and “Occlusal Concepts and Articulation” in the post graduate prosthodontic program at Montefiore Medical Center. His professional interests are the use of dental implants in comprehensive oral rehabilitation, and the integration of esthetics into traditional prosthodontic values of comfort, longevity and oral health.
Dr. Dogus regularly attends professional meetings and continuing education courses, and has integrated the use of new technology into his practice. He maintains licenses in CT and in NY. He lives with his family in Westchester County, NY.

? I waited in the dentist chair for over an hour. ? No one even came in to check on me or apologize for the long wait when the dentist finally came in, he hardly did anything to help with my issue. ? Great experience with Dr. Dogus. The staff is friendly and professional and the office is a very relaxed environment. Dr. Dogus did an excellent job fixing a small crack in my front tooth and worked on it to my full satisfaction. I basically was not allowed to leave until it was perfect. Very poor bedside manners. He was speaking down at me and was very dismissive. One of his comments was “this is how I do it and you can go see someone else if you want” As a woman I felt extremely uncomfortable in his presence.

One of the great dental offices I have been in a while, very clean, careful with COVID restrictions. Front staff is quite warm and friendly.
Dr. Dogus and the hygenist Mrs. D are great. I felt like they both listened to me and provided me with care that is aligned with my goals. Highly recommend them both.

Dr. Dogus and his staff, Trisha and Monica, are the best! Very professional and straightforward in explaining the procedures and their costs. Dr. Dogus' pain management during my extraction was excellent. Hardly felt any pain and when I did he took care of it immediately. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Dogus was very affable and professional. After the examination he asked what my wants and expectations were and proceeded to explain my options and recommended procedures along with their associated costs.

As someone who is deathly afraid of dentists, I have to say that my visit with Dr. Dogus went exceptionally well. Dr. Dogus took the time to explain things to me, offering me different options and explaining the pros and cons of each procedure. Not once did I feel rushed. Additionally, his staff is amazing! I can say with certainty that I will be returning and will be referring my neighbors to this dentist.

I'm glad i found this place. I have been looking for for a good dentist for the longest. The receptionist is very courteous, the dental hygienist is kind and make you feel comfortable and the doctor is caring and compassionate. I would recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a place where patient comfort is a priority.

I"m so very pleased to have found him - I've had some terrible experiences with dentists over the past couple of years, and it was a little scary for me to start all over again, but Dr, Dogus is such a pro and an artist as well that he put me right at ease! And his staff is wonderful as well!!
