The staff is organized and friendly. My doctor, Dr. Mashura is attentive, understanding, concise but accurate. The one thing a doctor must evoke is trust and confidence; Dr. Mashura is such a great example of this. My appointment was swift, I got all my questions answered and feel like I am on a path to victory with my particular knee issues.

It's always refreshing with the admins are in sync with the doctors. They were all pleasant, organized and efficient. Dr. Mashura was in tuned with what I was going through, made excellent suggestions and listened with sincerity.

Dr. Michael Mashura specializes in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty in sports medicine. He has extensive experience in the surgical treatment all orthopedic injuries with additional expertise in sports and activity-related injuries to the shoulder and knee.
Dr. Mashura obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana followed by his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Hofstra University/Northwell Health in Long Island, NY and a fellowship in sports orthopedic surgery at Miami Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute in Coral Gables, FL.
Dr. Mashura is experienced in all aspects of sports medicine and athletic injuries. He’s served as team physician for multiple athletic teams, including Florida International University, and the Miami Heat. He also assists with Cardinal Gibbons High School, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Mashura has also served as the sideline physician for a wide variety of sporting competitions including New York Cosmos Professional Soccer, Merchant Marine Academy Division III NCAA football, Miami Dade Public High School football, and Long Island High School football. He has co-published and lectured on topics related to ACL injuries, cartilage degeneration/regeneration, shoulder instability, and hip preservation.
In his free time, he remains active running and has completed the New York City marathon and numerous half marathons. He also enjoys paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming.

Dr. Mashura is a very direct no nonsense kind of guy. I brought my crazy Mom in to see him and he was very patient with her. After two knee injections she was good as new. He was very straightforward with her about surgical options which I very much appreciated.
