She was nice, but I did not get an ultrasound! I was so looking forward to seeing my baby, but all they had me do was pee in a cup and ask me some questions. I have NEVER heard of this happening! Even women that are 4 weeks along still get ultrasounds on the first visit, and I’m 8 weeks - my baby even has fingers right now.
The first visit was entirely pointless for me. I’ve talked to the women in my family and asked on a forum, and I’m the only one who didn’t get an ultrasound, didn’t get to hear a heartbeat, and didn’t even have any blood drawn. Anyone else who is pregnant and in their first trimester knows the feeling of wanting some kind of confirmation, apart from peeing on a stick. They scheduled me again for an ultrasound, but I can’t help but think it’s because they get more money for having more visits.
Bottom line: if you are hoping to see your baby or its heartbeat on the first visit (like everyone else does) then don’t go here!

My experience with Dr. Witten was great. The facility was clean. Everyone was kind and professional. I was treated with respect and as an individual. I did not feel uncomfortable asking questions, and I received answers that I could understand. I did not feel judged or talked down to in any way. It was a great experience. I would recommend Dr. Witten and her staff to anyone.
