I was very pleased with my consultation with Dr. Staub. I was scheduled to consult with him first and another doctor later in the week. After my consultation I decided that I would establish care with him and proceed with treatment. I loved his informal and casual approach and found him to be quite the character. Very nice doctor who was reassuring and gave me great hope about my prognosis. Dr Staub immediately gave feedback and a treatment plan was decided after some consideration. I was pleased because I read things from other world renown specialists in this area and he devised a treatment plan that was the same as I had read from these other specialists. This was very encouraging considering my last doctor did not suggest half the things he did. I later talked to another woman who had glowing remarks about his treatment and success rate. I finally feel relieved.

The Dr. was very kind but, the nurses, they were not.
I came into the consultory for the measure of blood pressure and those steps very soon but I waited at least 20 minutes before the Dr. appear at the consultory. Was a long wait.

A native of Dallas, Dr. Jay Staub has been in practice since 1983, delivering personal health- care for women at the Margot Perot Center at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, he attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and received his medical degree in 1979. He completed his residency training at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
A Clinical Professor in the department of OBGYN at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Staub is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. His practice specializes in a spectrum of women's care - general OB/GYN, infertility routine and high-risk prenatal care, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and menopause. He was one of the few gynecologists in the area to perform MRI guided focused ultrasound non-invasive treatment for uterine fibroids. Dr. Staub was selected as one of "The Best Doctors in Dallas" by D Magazine in 2004-2009, as well as a "Texas Super Doctor" by Texas Monthly in 2004, 2005 and 2012. In addition, Dr. Staub was recently elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America® from 2009 to 2010. He and his wife, Lynn are the proud parents of four children. He enjoys golfing, snow skiing and other outdoor activities during his leisure time.

After interviewing a number of OB-GYNs, I chose Dr. Staub to be my primary physician as I started to plan my family. Three children, a few surgeries, and 22 years later, I still trust him with my health and changing body; so much so that I return to Dallas once a year from my home 500 miles away. Regardless of the distance, he and his assistant Rhonda take the best care of me! I'll find a new doctor in Alabama when Dr. Staub retires.
