About Dr. Christy Walker
Dr. Christy Walker is a board certified gynecologic surgeon and fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a fellowship trained cosmetic surgeon. She is also an accredited Associate of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America and is the first physician to offer Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation in Arkansas.
Dr. Walker received her degree in biology with minor in chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. There she graduated summa cum laude and was a recipient of the Chancellors Medallion. The award is given to graduates with the highest grade point average in their academic school. Dr. Walker then went on to receive her Doctorate of Medicine and complete her residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Walker has always been a compassionate physician dedicated to improving women’s health through individualized attention in a private, caring and professional atmosphere. She is a caring physician who recognizes that a woman’s health and beauty are often intertwined. Because of her experience treating thousands of women over the past decade, she recognizes the emotional difficulties associated with a woman’s sense of femininity…She can identify with the need to look and feel beautiful on the inside and out. Her unique skill set of gynecologic surgery coupled with her broadened expertise in facial and cosmetic surgery allows her to address most general and all vaginal cosmetic surgical concerns as well as outline a personalized treatment plan to restore a more youthful well being.
Dr. Walker is married to Dr. Torrance Walker, a joint reconstruction and sports orthopedic surgeon. They have two children. Torrance II and Noah.
