Dr. Zimm is a phenomenal doctor! I only wish I had found him sooner. For years, I've been suffering from frequent sinus infections that turned into chronic sinusitis this time around. That's what happens when doctors dismiss your symptoms and tell you to "let it run its course." Dr. Zimm was the first person to actually listen to what I had to say and treat me based not only on his expertise, but what I had shared with him. I can't say enough great things about him.

Dr. A. Joshua Zimm received his medical training in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at New York's finest teaching hospitals. He completed his residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, St. Lukes -Roosevelt Hospital, and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. After being in practice for 10 years, Dr. Zimm completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. Peter Adamson at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Zimm graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 and attended the Medical College of Virginia where he graduated at the top of his class. He is board certified in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and currently resides on the attending staff at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Zimm has received numerous honors and awards. In 2004, he was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Other honors include the New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center Alumni Council Distinguished Housestaff Award in 2000, First Place Basic Science Research Award in 1999, Second Place Clinical Research Award in 1998, and Third Place in the Resident Research Competition in 2001. Recently, Dr. Zimm was selected as one of "America's Top Physicians" by the Consumer Research Council of America in 2010, 2009, and 2007, and as a Lifetime Member of Strathmore's Who's Who in 2004. Dr. Zimm was selected as "Man of the Year in Medicine and Healthcare" for 2009 for outstanding contributions to medicine and healthcare as recognized by the American Biographical Institute.

I have been to many, many doctors in my life and have never been treated with such warmth and professionalism from both Dr. Zimm and his staff. I was seen immediately and my surgical procedure was painless and quick. Dr. Zimm and his staff called me several times post-surgery to see how I was doing and to see if I needed anything. The lovely Evita is a wonderful compliment to Dr Zimm as he meticulously and patiently helps you decide what's right for you. Dr Zimm is by far the best ENT I have seen in NYC! He is polite, patient and thorough. I was referred to him after my prior ENT wanted to perform a septum surgery based on CAT scan results. I was hesitant because my sinuses and septum have been previously operated on, so I got a second opinion.
Dr Zimm requested the actual CAT scan images as opposed to relying on the radiology report, which he reviewed *with me* on his computer screen. My septum was in fact fine and the radiology report had a mistake/gross over-read.
I have seen Dr Zimm for many check-ups since my initial appointment, but felt like it was a good story to highlight one of the things that makes him great.

I almost didn't want to write this review, because I wanted to keep this office a "hidden gem"
I've been self conscious of my double chin my entire life. I have tried dieting and exercising, however nothing seems to get rid of it. Feeling desperate, I finally went to see a Plastic Surgeon. I am SO glad I chose Dr. Zimm. Not only was he professional but he was kind and took the time to answer all of my questions.
Dr. Zimm suggested I get both Botox (to get rid of those annoying number 11's!) and Kybella - for my turkey neck. Both were injections.
Dr. Zimm was very gentle and I would no doubt recommend him to anyone!!
I am looking forward to going back to his office for my future Botox and Kybella treatments.

4 years ago, I made an appointment with Dr. Zimm because I was having trouble breathing through my nose. I immediately told Dr. Zimm that I wanted to get surgery to fix my deviated septum. Initially, he wanted to try alternatives as in nasal drops to open up the passage ways, breathing techniques and other "non-surgical" approaches to help me breathe better. I needed to do the surgery and I couldn't be more happy with not only the results, but my entire experience with him and his office staff. Once I decided to go forward with the surgery, I also decided to make some cosmetic changes as well. I researched other doctors and had various consultations. I even went to one of my student's father who is a plastic surgeon. He gave me a great price and I knew I would be in good hands but ultimately, I felt the most comfortable with Dr. Zimm and booked my surgery. Any questions or concerns regarding my surgery was answered either by phone or in his office. I brought in about 10 photos of what I wanted my nose to look like and Dr. Zimm took the initial photographs of my nose and began to show me via the computer what the final result would look like. He did an amazing job, a real professional and someone you can talk to. I followed Dr. Zimm's post-surgery instructions and I did not experience any pain or discomfort. Fast forward to a year and a half later...my nose looks GREAT, I feel extremely confident and my breathing couldn't be better...not to mention, I don't snore anymore at night! "We want what we can't have", but after Dr. Zimm's work, I got exactly what I wanted plus!

Dr. Zimm is the best, hands down. I am writing this review literally the minute I got home. I had to take a 2-hour train ride to see him but judging by the results and my overall experience in his office, it is well worth the extra miles. I have lost a significant amount of volume in my mid-face areas due to sudden weight loss. I looked hollowed, gaunt, old and overworked. The most annoying part was the depression of the tear troughs which caused dark-circle-like long shadows further down my cheeks. After the filler was injected, I looked at least 5 years younger instantly. The result is so much better than I had expected. The doctor listens to what I say and exercises his judicious and aesthetic judgement to achieve my goals. He even talked me out of unnecessary procedures and made me feel he truly cares and acts in my best interests. The pain was pretty manageable and he has very gentle hands. I immediately knew right after the procedure, that I was going to book him for the Rhinoplasty I've wanted and dreaded so much for such a long time!

I was thinking of this procedure for a long time and when I received Dr. Zimm's name from another trusted surgeon who had performed a medical procedure for me that was necessary, I called his office and I knew immediately that this was going to become a reality. Where do you start?? He is accommodating, kind, compassionate, gifted, listens to your opinion, and many more fine attributes. His staff is over the top. But like they say, the good things go from the top down.
