Quick, kind, and easy. Very glad I chose Dr. Burrows
Worst Dr visit ever. He was rude, condescending and judgemental. Even when someone is having a bad day they still have a obligation to be professional when at work. If an individual can not then they should be taking a sick day from work.
Great initial visit and I’m happy with the diagnostic and treatment plan to find out what’s wrong with me.
He is pleasant, prompt, blunt and knowledgeable. Initial visit felt a little rushed but he ordered the test I needed and I'm hopeful for the follow-up.
Great bedside manner very professional, great staff.
He is amazing, he gives me hope that we can find what is causing me to be so sick. Requested a new test that should have been offered by others but they did not, thanks to him for thinking of different tests!
Is was very good at what he does. Also has good sense of humor!
Awesome visit. Really quick too (which I appreciated). I love that all of the new patient paperwork is done thru a tablet. He also had access to all of my referring physicians notes and test results. That really hekped speed things along. Would highly recommend.
Excellent personal treatment. Knowledgeable and down to business doctor.
Bedside manner needs improvement. Overconfidence was a little unnerving.
Great vist very thorough and things wete explained well! As well as follow up vist emailed within minutes of appt! Highly recommended drs and staff!
Dismissive. Did not listen to my concerns.
I thought he was rude and unhelpful.
I thought Dr. Burrows and his Nurse Practitioner Claire were absolutely wonderful. They were very comfortable (especially as a new patient), listened to my concerns and were understanding. I would definitely recommend Dr Burrows to my family and friends.
Great consultation. He made me feel welcome and showed general interest in wanting to make sure I feel better--that feels like a rarity anymore.
I didn't spend much time with Dr. Burrows, but he's the first doctor who ordered all the tests for me for my lifetime intestinal problems, and for that I am VERY grateful. He said, "You're 36 years old and you've never had these tests done?!" That made me laugh. Thanks for listening to me and taking care of me, Dr. Burrows!
The doctor was lecturing me about my weight before I could even sit down after entering his office and harped on it for the first few minutes of my appointment (even though it's completely unrelated to why I was there). He seemed incredulous about everything I said, and his overall attitude toward me made me not trust him or want him to treat me. He was curt and his bedside manner was abhorrent, maybe he was having a bad day but being rude is uncalled for- he actually brought me to tears. The student he was helping was very nice and professional, thankfully most of my appointment was spent with him; I hope he doesn't adopt Dr. Burrows bedside manner.
Not one of the best doctors and I was in the government
Office notes say he saw me for 25 minutes, it was 5. Notes also say he gave me his personnel cell number, this was not done. He also said he could not help me without ordering any more tests.
Dr Burrows is a professional that gets to the point. I will be seeing him again and thank him and his team. Excellent
Dr. Burrows is a knowledgeable, personable doctor. He treats his patients with respect, and happily answers questions. He always seems to be cheerful. I have treated with him for 7 years, and have never had a complaint.
Dr. Burrows is very straight up and will tell you like it is. I LOVE Doctors like that. I went for severe stomach pain and will be having a upper endoscopy next month. At the end of my visit he asked me, "what is your biggest concern about the problem you told me about". He listened to my input and gave feedback. I like Dr.Burrows and he will be my gastro Doc from now on.
Although Dr. Burrows seemed knowledgeable about his field and the first visit went well, a procedure I had sent me home with no comfort and little information. One of the nurses had said he's often late, but he wasn't this time. In recovery, I was told something that needed explaining. My family member re-asked the question to the nurse who told her she was making the situation worse. Dr. Burrows came in and said he didn't have time to talk with me, and while I was crying walked away saying "well at least you're not dying" loudly enough for other patients to hear. It was embarrassing and left me feeling as though he was purely a clinician without regard to the patient as a person. Additionally, my discharge instructions said follow up if necessary, indicating that my symptoms were to be disregarded because they weren't attributed to a diagnosis.
Very arrogant and horrible bedside manner. Dr. Borrows is very abrupt. Seems to know a lot about my condition, so I will go back to see him for another visit.
When I initially saw Dr. Burrows I liked him. He seemed interested in my health and overall well-being. The last few times I've seen him have been unpleasant due to the following: 1. Appointment was rescheduled at the last minute, even though it was Dr. Burrows who mandated that he could not refill my prescription unless he saw me for a check-up first. Scheduling with him is near impossible due to him being out of the office or unavailable a lot of the time. When he does book appointments, they usually end up being cancelled at the last minute, with the next available appointment not being for a few weeks after the cancellation. 2. Dr. Burrows was then late in seeing me after rescheduling the appointment. 3. Dr. Burrows was texting on his phone during my appointment. 4. I felt my concerns were not being taken seriously. 5. Dr. Burrows expressed his lack of interest in writing me a referral to see a different type of specialist. 6. Dr. Burrows was condescending and clearly disinterested in me as a patient.
visit too quick, he does not seem to care to find out the symptoms.
He ended up not being the right doctor to treat what my problem was, but he was willing to sit down with me and offer suggestions of Doctors that could help. The Doctor and the staff were very nice and funny.
I have never written a bad review in my life but I feel it's necessary to AVOID this doctor at all costs. He was the most condescending person I have ever met. Talked down to me the whole appointment, almost to the point of laughing at me when I described my symptoms. Don't waste your time seeing this doctor - he is so rude. Extremely appalled by his professionalism.
It was fine; not the most pleasant appointment simply based upon the type of procedure
The Doctor, his student and receptionist were all extremely friendly and helpful.
Very personable...I hate the doctors office but he was very straight forward and easy to talk too.
Very positive and forthright. More respectful of patient than most physicians. Only drawback was annoying music in waiting room.
Well First time used zocdoc and will be the last because I went 25 min early to my 9am appt that I received numerous confirmation on and when I went to check in I was not ever entered and the odd thing is I called the office to confirm the and spoke to someone who was In charge and confirmed they received my entry and would enter it in. The way dr burrow handled my case and the actual 9am appt that showed up was unreal he seems stressed out and treats his new employees no better than the patients very arrogant and zero empathy. The office person was new first week checking in patients and very nice and apologized I could feel her empathy and could not believe a doctor could be so cruel and uncaring. I decide that this is not the doctor for me. I will never return there and think that he needs to be held accountable for his actions
Fast & efficient.
My appointment was cancelled twice at the last minute
I was scheduled for a noon appointment, and after waiting 30 minutes without seeing any other patients in the waiting room, I explained to the receptionist that I was on my lunch break and asked if my appointment would be starting soon. After about 5 more minutes (and still no other patients to be seen), Dr Burrows saw me, and seemed a little huffy that I was irritated by the delayed appointment start time. After that he was very quick to draw conclusions about my symptoms without fully listening to what I was describing to him, rushed through the appointment, and over the course of my visit and subsequent tests, he seemed extremely disinterested in finding or treating a diagnosis. I had to call his office every time I wanted a follow-up on test results or to try something new, and overall it was a colossal waste of time and money. After 6 months of frustration, I ended up seeing a different GI doctor and was squared away after the first visit... and for about 1/3 of the price.
There were times I felt like I couldn't get a word in and the doctor didn't shake my hand when I arrived or left and didn't even acknowledge when I said thank you to him as I was leaving. His apprentice on the other hand was very attentive and kind.
It was fast and I guess efficient. I will see after the medicine.
He stated he only had 15 minutes and he had to leave to somebody other than me and then he called my name, he didn't even check me, he send his intern or study to take my vitals, the whole appointment felt rushed and not very professional
Estoy muy contenta con mi visita al doctor Aaron burrows Fue Excelente mi cita con el Gracias por su ayuda
He was funny, while still maintaining a level of professionalism and respect for me as a patient. Would definitely recommend, especially when there's a learning med student there to observe ; The doctor is much more lively about the goings-on in the process of treatment, and I would feel good about seeing him again.
Completely thorough with exam and detailing what I need to know and the next steps of my process, very easy to speak with and great bedside manner! Totally trusting.
Seemed knowledgeable in practice. My main concern was that I was the only patient in the office. Even with that I felt my appointment was rushed and didn't feel a real sense of concern for my well being from the doctor.
I am choosing to see a different doctor because although he initially showed interest in solving my digestive health problems, he shows no indication of pursuing the diagnosis.
He was personable and took my concerns seriously.
