This was our first visit with Dr.Carter and we were very impressed with him and his assistant and the office staff. Dr. Carter is friendly and very caring. He was very thorough with his examination and explained all the results in detail. He took his time and was not in a rush and answered all our concerns and questions. We will definitely recommend him to our friends and family.

Dr. Carter is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, hip, knee, shoulder surgery, as well as general orthopaedics and fracture management.
Dr. Carter received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and then completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Carter has authored several book chapters, peer reviewed publications, and has given presentations in the United States and abroad. Originally from the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Dr. Carter looks forward to providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to the community.
