About Jane Ehle
Janie has been a PA since 2018 and has worked in both conventional and alternative/integrative pain management practices. After seeing her parents, and patients, struggle with normal daily activities due to arthritis of the back, hips, and knees for so long and after seeing so many patients who received joint injections and other non-surgical pain treatments recover much of their function, Janie decided that she wanted to work in more of an integrative pain management environment where she could focus on restoring function through non-surgical and non-medication treatments.
In 2022 she started working with Veterans to evaluate their chronic conditions and link them to treatment at the VA. It was rewarding being able to fight for them and on their behalf at the VA. Janie is thrilled to now be working at Ascent Integrated Medicine where she will be able to work personally with patients throughout their health journey by providing pain relief as well as identifying and resolving the source of the pain so that patients can return to doing the things they love to do.
Her approach to pain management is to work closely with each individual patient and create a customized treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs, and to follow up with them often to assess the effectiveness of the treatment. She believes that a caring, empathetic, and encouraging provider can be so empowering and beneficial to a patient who is in pain, whether that pain is acute or chronic, and regardless of the cause. Janie has experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with pain from osteoarthritis, injury, rheumatologic disorders, neuropathy, and psychosomatic pain. She has experience in ultrasound guided joint injections of hyaluronic acid and platelet rich plasma, Iovera cryoanalgesia, trigger point injections, fitting custom lateral and medial unloader knee braces, educating patients about specific home exercises to support and compliment in-office joint treatments.
