After serving an additional year as Pediatrics Chief Resident, he came to Chicago for fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at Children's Memorial Hospital and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Donnell started working in private practice in Chicago in 2005 and lives in Chicago with his family.
