Dr. Spitz was born in Miami Beach, Florida. He grew up on the east coast and attended Cornell University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Distinctions in All Subjects. He went on to earn his MD from Cornell University Medical College. He completed his Urology residency at the Los Angeles County /University of Southern California Medical Center where he was honored with an appointment to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr Spitz completed a fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr Spitz is an Associate Professor of Urology at U.C. Irvine Medical Center.
Dr Spitz also has specific training and interest in male reproductive medicine.
Dr Spitz is also a nationally recognized expert on vasectomy. He performs no-needle no-scalpel vasectomy, employing the most modern and minimally invasive techniques for male birth control.
