About Stephen Leon
I was raised in the Redlands/Mentone area of the empire from which I graduated from CSU San Bernardino with my Bachelors in Psychology. I’ve been moved to Sacramento to attend Samuel Merritt University for both RN and NP programs. My first two years I worked solely within FQHC population and have spent the following eight years with Kaiser Permanente working in family, internal, pediatric, and orthopedic medicine. Although I typically see adults, I do see children between 4-17 years old as well.

I had the opportunity to be treated by Stephen for a shoulder issue, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Stephen was incredibly kind, professional, and thorough throughout the entire appointment. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure all of my questions were answered. His knowledge and clinical expertise were evident, but what stood out most was how much he genuinely cared about my well-being. He never made me feel rushed and approached my care with compassion, patience, and attention to detail. It is clear that Stephen is passionate about helping his patients and takes great pride in providing high-quality care. I’ve had the pleasure to see NP Stephen Leon during a few of my appointments over the last few months. He always takes the time to really listen to my concerns and never makes me feel rushed. He is caring, compassionate and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. I truly appreciate the attention and support he provides!

Stephen Leon asked the right questions and followed up with more detail rather than rushing to a decision based off little information. Too many times in the past when I have seen someone, hey look for an answer that confirms the first thing they want to believe and they prescribe right from there. Stephen followed up, gained more information and made his decisions based on what he really believes was best for me. He even followed up to continue to talk through how I was doing and whether or not other options could be necessary. He made me feel safe under his care and that I was important.

My visits with Stephen Leon, Nurse Practitioner have been excellent. I’ve met with him a number of times regarding minor medical issues such as, GERD, birth control, and a minor gluten intolerance. Stephen successfully diagnosed me with GERD, and helped me find an appropriate birth control that would align to my bodyhelped me find an appropriate birth control that would align to my body. He also was successful in discovering that I had a minor aversion to gluten. Each visit I had with him he was extremely thorough and spoke to me in ways that I could understand easily. During each appointment, I always felt comfortable asking questions as he is very approachable. He took the time to meet my needs and to understand some of the challenges that I was going through at the time. I would recommend Stephen to any family or friend.
