Dr. Freedman was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her BS at Washington University in St. Louis where she majored in biology, and continued with medical school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She completed her ob/gyn residency at Rush University in June and is excited to join Northwest Associate's in the fall! During her residency, she did research in the economics of minimally invasive hysterectomy. Special interests include contraception counseling, complete and compassionate obstetric care, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and she is a member of the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Very easy to talk to, encourages questions, listens to your concerns, and explains the answers in a way that is easy to understand. I felt like I was talking with a long time friend rather than a doctor I was just meeting for the first time.
