Dr.Abigal was very knowledgeable and confident with all the information she provided me with. She was very kind and professional and made me feel extremely comfortable.
She took the time to explain why sometimes our bodies react to certain kind of goods and gave me not just a typical generic plan that will help with my IBS but one that would suit my vegan lifestyle . I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a good nutritionist. I am happy I found on her ZocDoc!

Abigail Torchiana, R.D., L.D.N. is a registered dietitian licensed in Washington DC. and is a member of the National Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Northern Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Abigail holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Penn State University and completed her dietetic internship through the Mayo School of Health Sciences at Mayo Clinic Florida. Abigail has also completed the Commission on Dietetic Registration's Certificate of Adult Weight Management training program.
Abigail has experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings from out patient nutrition counseling to long term acute care and long term care. Her experience includes but is not limited to weight management counseling and nutrition therapy for varied medical conditions such as; diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, bariatric surgery, food allergies and gastrointestional disorders. Abigail loves motivating people to make healthy decisions to reach their goals.
