“I was very pleased with my experience at Dr. Farber's office. There was literally no wait time (except the time spent filling out forms which could be done before the appointment as the form is available online) to be seen by the technician (for Xrays) and then Dr. Farber. Dr. Farber uses the form to ask questions and then completed simple strength tests. In my case, my shoulder. He confirmed what I suspected and layed out the options with risk and benefits. I felt very comfortable with the diagnosis and treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Farber and his staff.”

Dr. Farber attended Stanford University for his undergraduate education; he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences.
His medical education was completed at the University of California at Irvine where he was honored with induction into the Alpha Omega honor society.
He completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at the world famous Johns Hopkins Hospital where he served as an administrative chief resident and was awarded the resident research award. He subsequently completed an extra year of fellowship training in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at the prestigious Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
During his fellowship, he served as assistant team physician for the athletic department at Loyola Marymount University, and associate team physician for Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Sparks and part of the medical staff for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Avengers and USC Football. During his fellowship, he received the Kerlan-Jobe Basic Science Research Award for his research on rotator interval closure techniques.
