Dr. Kaplan was great and is very knowledgeable. The Howell office, on the other hand, was as slow as molasses. I waited over an hour to see the doctor. Next time I will make the first appointment of the day.

I have impossibly high standards for my doctors and Dr. Kaplan is amazing. I am a complicated case and he is honest with what he thinks about my other doctors. He makes you fee like you are a part of a team, rather than just a doctor and a patient.

I was satisfied, up until I recently went to see him for some specific issues that I have been dealing with over the last year. Been seeing him since early 2015, then after my last visit, had blood ordered. THe office called me to then order heart monitoring and then additional blood work 2 - 4 weeks later.
I was called with the results of the monitor, and then when I asked when I shoul come in for blood work, they state is was never ordered. I ask what my chart says and they re-iterate the follow up with more blood 2 - 4 weeks later. So when I asked them to have Dr Kaplan order it, they tell me he isn't there any longer and I will have to come see another doctor just to order my blood work.
This to me now sounds like insurance fraud making patients make additional visits that are unnecessary all because a doctor didn't care properly for their pateints and perform all of the follow up that they were supposed to. No wonder this county has a problem with insurance rates.

It's frustrating to have to wait an hour for your appointment especially when you're sick. I've been sick for almost 3 weeks and been to the doctor twice with him telling me nothing I didn't know.

Although the wait was a bit long the office was full which is a good sign. Dr kaplan was great and he even took the time to check if a dermotologist office took my insurance! His office then made the appintment for me! Great office and service!

This was my first visit with Dr.Kaplan. He was absolutely great. Generally, I don't enjoy doctor visits because most doctor's don't give your opinions the time of day but Dr.Kaplan was patient and listened to what I had to say. He gave me his full attention and full disclosure on his thought process in regards to my medical issues at the time. He also was adamant about making sure I fully recovered. Here, again, he sets himself apart. I was prescribed medication but that did not diminish his concern about my health. I really appreciated his compassion and enthusiasm. Great guy!
