Always like Dr. Spector
Dr Spector was great. Easy to make an appointment with very curteous staff. He took his time with me and gave me a thorough evaluation and relieved my discomfort.
He and his staff were great with my three and a half year old son.
Attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. Friendly, unrushed manner.
First visit. Liked the doctor and staff. Very professional and kind.
Dr. Spector is very knowledgable and personable. He has a good bedside manner and I look forward to working with him on my recovery.
Dr.Spector is great!
The office staff said that the info supplied by me on-line does not populate their electr records. Thus, the questions they asked about me were as if I had entered no data. This is not terrible, but is a waste of my time.
Staff were very friendly. I was seen promptly and Dr. Spector was very knowledgeable about my condition. He was very professional and courteous.
I enjoyed the visit. Dr. Spector was through and caring.
Very thorough, including to having my blood pressure taken by an associate before being seen by Dr. Spector. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. Very comforting and gave me a sense of future improvement with my condition, and how to make sure I could minimize in the treatment area (my foot's tendon).
Enjoyed the experience. The doctor is very personable.
I've been going to him for years, as well as my whole family and we each have high marks for him and his staff
He was very attentive and friendly.
First - Office decor features supposedly comical pictures of old ladies ogling young men in bathing trunks. In my opinion, anti woman and anti elderly. Second- Woke from anesthesia to find attending nurse and anesthetist jitterbugging in the operating room. Didn't boost my confidence level. Third- Dr billed for two feet when only one was operated on. Fourth - operated foot looks more grotesque than before.
I saw Dr. Spector because I stepped on a needle and he tried to remove it. In the end it needed to be done surgically under anethesia but what I saw at his office concerned me a bit. He was in the process of digging into my foot with gloves on and then at one point he reached over and touched the door knob and then resumed digging into my foot. I was extremely concerned about the office hygeine protocals after I saw that.
Very good, professional and friendly
The staff is very friendly and professional. Doctor Spector is a warm, down to earth individual that is very knowledgeable. His examination was very thorough and he explained everything very clearly in a way that was easily understood. The office location is also very convenient with plenty of free parking. I would definitely recommend Dr. Spector and his team.
I'm glad I was able to make an appointment on such a short notice through ZocDoc. His office is extremely comfortable and I love the photographs on the walls!! I was little late to my appointment but I was still able to see Dr. Spector. He was able to prescribe a solution to my cracked heel problem. He also suggested contacting him if I have issue with my prescription. I would definitely visit him if I have any more issues.
Excellent service. He will really cure your foot problems. He cured my toe nai problem ten years ago, after visiting 3 different doctors and getting my nail removed three times. Now I knoe better and today I went back for my left toe nail and I'm sure he cured it for good :)
He's a really good doctor but the wait time was extremely long.
Very nice and pleasant staff
Very knowledgable but also down to earth. Great Doctor!
Dr. Specter and his staff were very professional and personable. He explained in detail my options for treatment. He did not try to steer me to some costly and unnecessary treatment when a more economical alternative would be equally effective. I would highly recommend his services.
Professional, efficient, and effective.
When I tried to sign in at the doctor's office, they had no record of my appointment through Zocdoc, but they were able to fit me in within a short period of time. Thank you.
He was professional, and he listened to my concerns and considered that when recommending treatment options.
The is probably a good clinician, but the office staff is why I will not ever go back. No one ever answers the phone or checks to see if I wa ever a patient. Waiting 1 1/2 hours in not acceptable.
This doctor knows his stuff.
Su trato fue excelente y muy eficiente muy satisfecho
The staff is nice/polite. The doctor took appropriate time during the appt, and answered all my questions. Office is very busy with multiple doctors, and patients. Exam rooms are in high demand. I was 30 min late for apt (called ahead to advise). Once I arrived I waited 1 hr to be taken to exam room. I spent another hour at office between doctor exam, x-rays, orthodic fitting, Rx, check out, etc. Parking at the Wheaton/University Blvd office is horrendous.
Dr. Spector was very knowledgeable and helpful during my appointment. However, the wait time was longer than one hour!
Thorough examination. Very pleasant visit. Sound advice.
Very positive experience!
The Doc visit was fast and painless. They took x-ray of my foot to make sure it wasn't fracture. One Office staff member had a long day ( almost charged me twice for co-pay & made me fill forms that was already done online ). Overall a decent visit.
I was pleased. Will see how his recommendations go.
Very nice he made my daughter feel at ease visit was quick and fairly painless
My visit with Dr. Spector was great. He was right on time for my appointment which was great because I had my kids with me. He was so friendly and nice and made me feel comfortable with the procedure that he was going to do. He was very thorough with his explanation of what he was going to do and even drew a diagram to explain further. He was gentle and quick. My visit was great and I would definitely recommend him for any foot needs!
This was a brief, introductory visit. I was late because I had trouble finding the address, so there was no waiting time. As soon as I filled out the 'new patient' information, the technician and then the doctor saw me. The people in the office are very pleasant as is Dr.Spector. I will need a little more time to be able to evaluate the advice that I was given.
I really enjoyed meeting with Dr Spector. I wasn't looking forward to going to a foot doctor but he was pretty funny and made me feel pretty comfortable. He figured out a solution to my issue first without surgery, so I will for sure be seeing him again sometime!
I am so let down by Dr. Spector and everyone that works for him. A year after surgery, I hurt more than before. What I am most upset about, is the lack of concern from the staff. Their true colors did not show till after surgery, after "pay day" so-to-speak. Please seek another Doctor. You will save yourself from a world of trouble.
Except for having to wait for 40 minutes visit was good.
Wait time was far too long for a 9 am appt.
He was professional, knowledgable and exceeded my expectations. Coming from a RN of 40 years who is an Nurse Executive, I am very picky and he was great
It was fine other than I waited a long time in the waiting room...
Excellent physician who is highly professional and has an engaging personality. He is very knowledgeable in his field.
Explained fully my situation and my options. Very comfortable atmosphere and was at ease from the moment I walked in the door. Great staff! Highly recommend !
It wasn't like my first visit but it as good. the wait time was extra tis time arund but it might have been because people wer omin in trying to get seen before te holidays.
He was very sweet, easy to talk to and made my first visit comfortable.
I found him to be knowledgeable, fast and efficient.
Love Dr Spector, he is great
Very good appt. Very professional and caring. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a podiatrist.
Great Visit, Very Helpful and Educational
It was quick and efficient.
He did nothing except give me the diagnosis i gave him, had the nurse put tape on my foot and xray me for no reason except to charge me more saying an mri is the only way to see the tendon. i was not given any equipment, prescriptions or instructions. i feel i was ripped off and will never return.
Helpful consultation. Useful advice. Molded for new orthotics. All was good except for long wait.
I thought he was thorough and answered all my questions.
He is great. My son has seen him several times. Very nice and very professional!
Great guy. Practical and reasonable adv
He was very friendly and nice but once he heard I used to have orthodics he didn't even look at my feet and just told me to get more.
Very courteous and professional service. Dr Spector is very knowledgable and gives great insight. His staff is also great. I highly recommend Dr Spector to anyone needing a podiatrist!
I was treated very well by front desk and staff ! Dr. Spector is a very good Doctor and went over my situation with me very well. I was very satisfied with my visit
The doctor was nice and the staff was nice but the staff lacked competency. They are open until 5 o'clock sharp and they close the office down for a 2 HOUR lunch break from 12-2 every day. This makes it very difficult to contact them if you work during the day.
Excellent, knowledgeable... like very much, highly recommend
The staff was so nice, even when I was late to the appt.
Dr Spector quickly diagnosed the problem and proscribed treatment.
He was very knowledgeable and nice!
Really took the time to encourage me after my injury. It helped a lot because I have lost 85 lbs and want to lose 40 more. Dr. Spector gave me orthotics and alternative exercises to continue my weight loss and get me running again. Dr. Spector truly understands runners' injuries.
Office was a bit disorganized. Waited almost one hour for a five minute consult. Doctor didn't even address me by my name. Couldn't pay co-pay via credit card since internet was down so paid with cash. Didn't have exact amount and office had no change, so extra money hopefully will be credited for next appointment.
He was professional and did not try to sell me on more treatments. He gave me what I needed for my situation and gave me a prescription.
Professional and performed treatment quickly and easily. Very good experience.
Real nice guy, very personable, know his stuff. Will definitely go back to him if I have any more issues with my feet.
My first time seeing a podriatist and Dr Spector was very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely see him again in the future.
He was straightforward albeit not able to help.
Very good with kids. My son felt very comfortable with him.
The wait was over an hour and the staff and doctor did nt even bother to acknowledge the wait or apologize. Once seen, he was friendly and professional.
Great doc for sports related injuries
Great bedside manner. Very easy to talk to and ask questions of.
Great attitude and very professional.
Very experienced and conscientious physician. He walked me through several therapies and allowed me to selectively choose based on the knowledge he shared. Along with that, he has a very knowledgeable and experienced staff. They made me feel as if I had been there before. I give them all a 4 star rating.
I was extremely happy with my visit. Dr. Spector explained things clearly and answered all of my questions. He was friendly, relaxed, and I left my appointment feeling upbeat about scheduling my procedure in the near future. In short, this is a very good doctor! Recommend highly.
It was a great visit and Dr. Spector is one of the best.
He's respectable & very professional. I would denitely recommend him to friends & relatives. Many thanks. Erlinda
Friendly, open to questions
Quick. Courteous staff. Good location. Would recommend.
