Adriana Notarfrancesco, M.D. is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. Dr. Notarfrancesco is an Assistant Attending in Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University and an Instructor in Psychiatry at New York State Psychiatric Institute. She is also an Associate Instructor at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. She completed her psychoanalytic training in 2007 graduating from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. She was Director of the Childen’s Day Unit, an intensive inpatient program at New York State Psychiatric Institute from 1997-1999. She entered private practice in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry in 1997. She completed her fellowship in Child Psychiatry in 1997 at New York Presbyterian Hospital-New York State Psychiatric Institute. During her child psychiatry fellowship, she was awarded the Sachar Award for Clinical Excellence and was Chief Resident of Consultation-Liasion Psychiatry.
