Adriana Paula Suarez MD is a board certified gynecologist and a Tampa native who has been providing women’s health care in the Tampa Bay area for the past 20 years. She has been privileged to take care of generations of women within the same families and is looking forward to continuing to do so in her own private practice setting. Although the days of delivering babies is in the past, Dr Suarez now enjoys providing the gynecological and well woman health care for women of all ages. The practice is an intimate setting with compassionate and thorough staff. Our mission is to provide comfort and understanding for all patients seeking care. In the office we provide gynecological care, as well as perform minor procedures, gynecologic ultrasounds and osteoporosis screening. Dr Suarez is also is affiliated with St Joseph Women’s hospital where she performs minor surgical procedures. Dr Suarez has grown up in Tampa and has practiced in the area for over two decades, she has many trusted medical collegues in various specialties that she can consult if needed for further evaluation and treatment. These same collegues voted her one of Tampa Bay Magazines Top Doctors- Ob/Gyn in 2019. Dr Suarez’s medical journey started after graduating from Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa to attend college at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania where she was a student athlete playing volleyball. She attended and graduated from University of Miami medical school to get her Medical Degree. Her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology was at LSU in New Orleans. After graduating from residency in June of 2000, she and her husband moved back to Tampa where she joined Bay Area Ob/Gyn of Women’s Care Florida and later became a partner. In private practice she loved starting and continuing long relationships with many of her patients and caring for their gynecologic and obstetric needs. In 2015 Dr Suarez gave up obstetrics and went part time in order to spend more time with her 2 children who are themselves active in volleyball. In 2016, Dr Adriana Suarez joined Exodus/Tampa Obstetrics continuing her part time hours where she was also able to provide care for women and patients less fortunate. Now after acquiring many years of knowledge, experience and working in different practices, Dr Suarez is excited to provide care in a smaller more focused and personalized environment. She cannot wait to share the new office with her many patients who have followed her throughout the years and developing relationships with new patients.
