At St. Joseph's Hospital, Dr. Antonelli serves as the crucial Director of Quality Assurance, to ensure that patients visiting the hospital are getting the best care possible. He also serves as clinical instructor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and is chairman of the accreditation committee at Catholic Medical Center.
Dr. Antonelli began his career in medicine at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, where he earned his MD. He came to New York for his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and bonded with the city for life. In addition to his leadership positions, Dr. Antonelli held a prestigious fellowship in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai.
In his spare time, Dr. Antonelli loves to go skiing and play other sports, as well as relax with a good book.
