Excellent patient care. Front office was very helpful. The office couldn't find my appointment that they had given me. Stephanie admitted she made the appointment but now couldn't find it but would work me in today. Had to fill out paper forms at office. I don't think they use Zocdoc for more than advertising. Anyway all of the staff was professional and I will return.

Excellent office staff, Lewis is very kind and personable, the woman checking you out is also very kind. Dr Discont is excellent! He has a great personality, very informative, proactive treatment plan. I am very happy I made an appointment with this office and provider.

Dr. Discont is on the faculty of many Podiatric Medical colleges and a frequent lecturer and contributor on various foot health topics for public organizations and local television networks including, CBS "Your Health" and Fox "Medical News". Dr. Discont is the founder and director of Family Foot & Ankle Care Centers, co-founder American Foot & Ankle Center, Ambulatory Surgi Center, Southwest Footcare Network and Physician's Surgical Center of Tempe. He is on staff of all east valley hospitals and most outpatient surgical centers.

Dr. Alan J. Discont received his pre-medical education at Ohio Sate University and the University of Arizona. He received his doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Cleveland Ohio. After acquiring additional specialized surgical training at dedicated hospitals in Phoenix, Baltimore, Detroit, Cleveland and Tucson, he performed his medical and surgical residency in Phoenix, Arizona. Keeping up with his commitment to the latest advances in technology, Dr. Discont attends greater than 60-70 hours of continuing medical education annually 2-3 times more than the annual requirement.

He is only interested in pushing his studies. When the plug the tried to put in my ankle didn't work he told me that was all he could do for me. At the time it was experimental and he wanted my data for his paper on the plugs that help fix pronation of the ankle. Bedside manner sucked. Didn't even wait until I was out of recovery to let me know what happened. I had to go to the see him a few weeks later to know the plug didn't work.

Outstanding. Dr Discont knows his feet and ankles; he took one look at the problem and immediately identified what it is, what treatments are available, exactly what he would recommend and why. Very pleasant and easy to talk with. I highly recommend him !
