Dr. Lipp is one of the most honest, trustworthy doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He’s extremely well informed about everything involved in gastroenterology, and VERY thorough in his treatments and suggestions. He has fantastic bedside manner as well! I always look forward to my appointments with him because I leave feeling informed, taken care of, and like I’m in very good hands. Dr. Lipp grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He attended the prestigious Honors Program in Medical Education at the University of Miami, graduating from medical school at the age of 22. He was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In 1997, he joined the practice now known as Klein, Geier, Lipp, M.D., L.L.P.
Dr. Lipp is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is skilled in all facets of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and has special interests in colon cancer screening and prevention, inflammatory bowel diseases, gastroesophageal reflux disease, celiac disease, and hepatitis C. He works closely with his well-respected partners Robert Klein, M.D. and Steven Geier, M.D. Dr. Lipp has recently been appointed as Director of the Celiac Center of Long Island, a newly formed entity dedicated to improving the care of patients with celiac disease. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.
Dr. Lipp has served as a Medical Advisor on the major motion pictures "Requiem For A Dream" and "Pi".
Dr. Lipp lives in Great Neck with his wife and three children.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lipp for a while now. He is very easy to talk to and very patient. Wonderful bedside manner. I love the changes to the office - updated waiting room with a TV and WiFi. There does tend to be a long wait so try to book an appointment early in the day if you cannot wait an hour.

Dr. Lipp is very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions without rushing me. They have finally added WiFi to their basement location where there is no cell service but no one at the front desk was able to provide a login. The waiting room is eerily pin drop quiet - please play some music or get a TV and PLEASE have WiFi for your patients.

My daughter was in distress for 2 days. At 7:30 am, before I went to work, on Fri, Oct 7, 2016, I was able to make an appointment on ZOCDOC for her with Dr Lipp. Her appointment was made for the same day at 11:45 am. The appointment was so easy to make online!! Upon arriving at 300 Old Country Rd Mineola NY suite 31, the office staff were so very nice! They had all my daughters info and she did not have to fill out any additional forms. Dr Lipp was amazing in diagnosing my daughter. His suggestions for her illness were on target. Dr. Lipp is great. He's personable and explains things very well in order to take some of the confusion out of dealing with and maintaining conditions like Crohn's or colitis. The wait time is a little long, but that's because he asks many questions and takes the time to get to know his patients.

His approach was warm and friendly. Being that i was a new patient, he was very much an interviewer in learning my nature of why i came to the office. After talking with doctor Lipp he understood my Chief Compliant. He took extensive notes and also i provided to him my patient repirts of test i had preformed recently, he was impressed that i had my patient information with me. He politely asked if he can gav cpoies for my chart. I was very pleased to know he is a good listener. Hhe made me feel very comfortable to continue my care under his medical direction. He was the only doctor that figured out my primary diagnosis this past year. He takes the time needed with patients & is determined to help you feel better.
