Office staff was rude to several patients both in office and on the phone while I was waiting. Wait time was inexcusable. Doctor's manner was demeaning.
He was great! Very nice and seems to care about his patients
Very pleasant and thorough.
Dr. Weintraub is extremely professional and doesn't waste your time. He is very through and friendly.
He took his time to explain everything to me. Very personable and funny. Staff was great to.
Educated no non sense straight forward.
So, the first visit i had i was very pleased. Today, it was okay. The care was the same he is very good at explaining everytrhing in detail, from diagnosis to treatment to outcome; however, the conversation turned hostile when i asked a question regarding insurance coverage, he was defensive and the verbal explanation was okay compared to the gestures with his hands, they were very unprofessional, i may be laid back and not easily offended but i do consider that certain professionalism must be maintained regarless of age or person being treated. I will continue to go to him because he is knowledgeable and straight to the point but beware if you are a person thats likes things sugar coated.
Hes a very pleasant doctor. Very nice straight to the point and very professional. I had an EGD with him as well and the only thing that i did not like was that he did not come to see me after the procedure to tell me what he saw, prior to the procedure he just said "see you next week in the office" so i just wished he came by to share some results.
Very well informed and explained everything I needed to know. He listened to me and answered all my questions. The staff was excellent. I have a follow-up appt. and have already referred two friends. Keeping my fingers crossed that our medical plan works for me. Thank you ZocDoc for this referral.
Dr Weintraub is excellent . He always spends time with his patient and doesn't seem rushed to go to another . Great bedside manner .
It went well over all satisfies
It was very informative. He explained his thoughts and plan of action.
I appreciate Dr. Weintraubs attentive manner and would like not to have to wait over a hour to get in to see him. He is a good Dr. and I appreciate his caring attitude.
nice doctor ,he really cares about his patients
He is very professional and informative. This is my third visit and screening with this doctor in the last 10 years.
Dr. Weintraub is amazing ! He's like the doctors of the old days in that he actually cares about his patients and doesn't put money first. I would feel comfortable recommending him to anyone I love.
Professional, knowledgeable, concerned...
Dr Weintraub is wonderful! Our first time seeing him and was beyond pleased. Why can't all medical providers be as professional, thorough and personable as Dr Weintraub?!
This was my first time seeing Dr Weintraub. The wait time was relatively short and included the completion of the prelim paperwork. I would recommend.
Very knowledgeable and truly looking out for the patient. A great doctor with integrity.
Very courteous and intelligent Dr. I would refer him to friends and family.
Spectacular guy and doctor who was able to methodically think through a variety of ailments, segregate relationships, and put together a comprehensive strategy to address multiple issues, far better than other top docs in the field I've previously seen.
He is so attentive and kind!
I really enjoyed working with this doctor.. He is extreme knowledgeable and caring
I was a new patient so there was a lot of information to fill out, but the Dr. Weintraub and his assistants provided outstanding care. They were knowlegable, courteous, and professional. What I appreciated most was the extra time Dr. Weintraub took to explain the procedure and set my mind at ease.
Professional and friendly.
This was my first appt with Dr. Weintraub.. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable about my symptoms.. He has a good sense of humor and was very reassuring.. Good first visit
Well, the visit was great but due to some issue between zocdoc and the office NY appointment was lost. The receptionist sorted it so I could still see the doctor and not have to reschedule.
I have been to Dr. Weintraub before, and he is professional, punctual, thorough, and is a very nice man. He doesn't rush you and still he is listening and taking information he needs. I would recommend him to my own family.!!
Dr reminded me of the way things should be. He actually gave me credit for having common sense. We agreed that you don't go to a doctor just to get a prescription refilled. The only time you go is when there is something wrong. Going to a doctor simply to refill a prescription is a waste of his time as well as mine. This doctor cares about his patients.
I was a little put off on how he conducted the appointment, he did no physical exam or really ask me any questions on my symptoms or how i felt he assumed since I was a young person that it was strictly two possible problems and went forth to give me drugs for one of them without any type of physical exam or Q&A, my experience prior to my appointment was horrible, upon walking into the office and giving them my name I was told that they could not find my appointment even thought I have multiple confirmation and reminder emails from them plus a reminder text message that morning for my appointment, luckily they said my appointment slot was still open, I filled out an extensive notebook of papers then sat for over an hour while people came in checked in then were seen before me. Horrible & Disconnected from virtual appointment setting.
Loved having a doctor willing to go through everything step by step. Communications were a plus with us.
He was alright, a little rude at the beginning when he found out why I am finally going to a doctor for my problems. But the front staff are extremely rude and snippy.
Best in the business. Takes time to explain what is going on and damn well knows what he's talking about. He's honest and extremely straight forward. No BS in his office, straight down to the nitty gritty.
He was professional I agreed with his recommendations for further tests I have a follow up appt even if tests come back normal The worst thing was the overly long wait even though I am a new patient Their reason being my info had to be put into their system. Hmmm...
Great doctor who was able to drastically improve my life with his treatment. Highly recommend!
He didn't listen to the reason I came in to see him. Instead he suggested an extremely expensive procedure.
Very pleased with Dr Weintraub! Hopefully my next visit comes out just as well! :-)
He relieved my fears about my problem. Very honest,I thought .
It was awesome and he is so knowledgable and understandable
I did not appreciate the doctor yelling at me and making me cry before he checked his computer to see that I did follow up with him and what he told me regarding the medicine he had prescribed to me. I almost walked out of the office. A doctor is suppose to help you and not yell at you and treat you like a child.
Front Receptionist very tough but also it is very busy.. the doctor was direct honest and to the point and very positive..
Super friendly, easy to talk to. Will visit again.
If you want to see someone who has no appreciation for anyone else's time, this is the office to see. You're better off at the emergency room.
Hes a very nice doctor and I believed in him in the begininng but he told me my stomach pain was from scar tissue without even examining me and come to find out I have gastritis.
I am so impressed with Dr. Weintraub. Completely knowledgeable about my condition (Crohn's Disease) and medication. Well-versed in medical literature; he's the first gastroenterologist I've had in over ten years who has been able to answer questions and explain new information to me.
First doctor to actually give me hope. Wait time doesn't matter if someone can and is actually willling to help you!
Dr. Weintraub is a very great doctor. He went far above the status quo to sit with me and educate me on what was wrong with me, he sat with me for a half hour explaining what is going on and the steps that we are going to take to try to fix the situation. He is very personable, very educated and very informative and I know that his extra effort helped make me more comfortable with my diagnosis addict was refreshing to find out he pursued this field of medicine because he himself grew up with GI problems. Highly recommend.
