Dr. Weintraub rapidly analyzed and evaluated the medical evidence of my condition (upper GI bleed), educated me about the details of my condition, examined my prescriptions and made specific recommendations, and directed me to schedule a follow up endoscopy (which I was able to do within a week). I have confidence in his technical competency and his empathy for my condition.

I was a new patient and had my appointment at 2:00 and wasn’t seen until 2:45. Once I saw Dr. Weintraub he was really caring and answered all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed. He suggested trying me on something for acid and IBS to see if there is improvement and wanted to see my again in a couple weeks.

I can only say that I wish I found Dr. Weintraub at the onset of my disease. Wonderful Physician and very knowledgeable about my condition. The wait time I can understand being a new Patient, it seems to always happen and it was in no way upsetting. Very busy office which means Dr. Weintraub and his associates are extremely good at what they do.
Verified patient
Very thorough and friendly Physician and Office Staff. There was a long wait to be seen since they were short staffed on this day. I was told that this wait is not normal and was only due to the staffing on this particular day. I understood after it was explained to me.
I would highly recommend Dr. Weintraub! It was easy to get an appointment, did not wait long, and he was very informative about all the questions that I had and was straight to the point.
Verified patient
Office staff was rude to several patients both in office and on the phone while I was waiting. Wait time was inexcusable. Doctor's manner was demeaning.
Very pleasant and thorough.
Verified patient
Educated no non sense straight forward.

So, the first visit i had i was very pleased. Today, it was okay. The care was the same he is very good at explaining everytrhing in detail, from diagnosis to treatment to outcome; however, the conversation turned hostile when i asked a question regarding insurance coverage, he was defensive and the verbal explanation was okay compared to the gestures with his hands, they were very unprofessional, i may be laid back and not easily offended but i do consider that certain professionalism must be maintained regarless of age or person being treated. I will continue to go to him because he is knowledgeable and straight to the point but beware if you are a person thats likes things sugar coated.
Verified patient
Hes a very pleasant doctor. Very nice straight to the point and very professional. I had an EGD with him as well and the only thing that i did not like was that he did not come to see me after the procedure to tell me what he saw, prior to the procedure he just said "see you next week in the office" so i just wished he came by to share some results.

Very well informed and explained everything I needed to know. He listened to me and answered all my questions. The staff was excellent. I have a follow-up appt. and have already referred two friends. Keeping my fingers crossed that our medical plan works for me. Thank you ZocDoc for this referral.

nice doctor ,he really cares about his patients
Dr. Weintraub is amazing ! He's like the doctors of the old days in that he actually cares about his patients and doesn't put money first. I would feel comfortable recommending him to anyone I love.
Verified patient
Professional, knowledgeable, concerned...
Dr Weintraub is wonderful! Our first time seeing him and was beyond pleased. Why can't all medical providers be as professional, thorough and personable as Dr Weintraub?!
Verified patient
This was my first time seeing Dr Weintraub. The wait time was relatively short and included the completion of the prelim paperwork. I would recommend.
He is so attentive and kind!
Spectacular guy and doctor who was able to methodically think through a variety of ailments, segregate relationships, and put together a comprehensive strategy to address multiple issues, far better than other top docs in the field I've previously seen.
Verified patient
I was a new patient so there was a lot of information to fill out, but the Dr. Weintraub and his assistants provided outstanding care. They were knowlegable, courteous, and professional. What I appreciated most was the extra time Dr. Weintraub took to explain the procedure and set my mind at ease.
Verified patient
Professional and friendly.
Verified patient
This was my first appt with Dr. Weintraub.. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable about my symptoms.. He has a good sense of humor and was very reassuring.. Good first visit
Verified patient
I have been to Dr. Weintraub before, and he is professional, punctual, thorough, and is a very nice man. He doesn't rush you and still he is listening and taking information he needs. I would recommend him to my own family.!!
Verified patient
Well, the visit was great but due to some issue between zocdoc and the office NY appointment was lost. The receptionist sorted it so I could still see the doctor and not have to reschedule.
Verified patient
Great!
Dr reminded me of the way things should be. He actually gave me credit for having common sense. We agreed that you don't go to a doctor just to get a prescription refilled. The only time you go is when there is something wrong. Going to a doctor simply to refill a prescription is a waste of his time as well as mine. This doctor cares about his patients.
Verified patient
I was a little put off on how he conducted the appointment, he did no physical exam or really ask me any questions on my symptoms or how i felt he assumed since I was a young person that it was strictly two possible problems and went forth to give me drugs for one of them without any type of physical exam or Q&A, my experience prior to my appointment was horrible, upon walking into the office and giving them my name I was told that they could not find my appointment even thought I have multiple confirmation and reminder emails from them plus a reminder text message that morning for my appointment, luckily they said my appointment slot was still open, I filled out an extensive notebook of papers then sat for over an hour while people came in checked in then were seen before me. Horrible & Disconnected from virtual appointment setting.
