As a family medicine physician, I believe that great care begins with listening. My goal is to create a space where patients feel heard, understood, and supported. I see each visit as a partnership, whether we're managing a chronic condition, addressing a new concern, or focusing on prevention and wellness. We will work together to understand your goals and tailor a care plan that fits your life. I’m a proud Mexican-American and grew up in a Latino neighborhood where family, hard work, and community shaped who I am. Those values continue to guide how I care for patients with respect, empathy, and a strong belief in the importance of building long-term relationships.
I approach medicine with a meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to excellence, always striving to provide the same level of care I would want for my own family. Whether we’re speaking English or Spanish, my promise is the same: to treat you with kindness, to communicate clearly, and to support your health with thoughtful, evidence-based care.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy staying active through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, weightlifting, and kettlebell training. Physical movement is not only part of my personal routine, but something I truly value and try to embody in everyday life. I enjoy being artistic by painting with oil on canvas and sketching with charcoal. Lately, I’ve been working on perfecting the New York strip steak sear on a cast iron pan which is still a work in progress, but a delicious one.
I love spending time with my wife and toddler, especially exploring new places together as a family. Some of our favorite moments happen at family gatherings, where there’s usually a taquiza, good music, and lots of dancing—cumbia, merengue, salsa, you name it. When we have the chance, we enjoy visiting family and beautiful cultural monuments in Mexico and reconnecting with our roots. These moments keep me grounded and remind me of the joy in everyday life.

Holy cow, i have never had a pcp that actually cared about how i was feeling mentally and physically. He went over the questionaires with me to address my mental health, and was very interested in exploring some of the issues that other physicians brushed off. I actually feel heard. Not once did i hear a "you're over reacting" or "thats common for your age". Instead I told him a concern heard "tell me more" and then "lets look into this more" and action items were scheduled and referrals were given.
I am floored. I wish more physicians operated with as much concern and drive to help people reach wellness.
