There is nothing more complex, elegant and mysterious as the mind - and I feel so fortunate to devote my career to its understanding.
After serving as chief resident, I completed my training at Stanford in sleep medicine. Through my fellowship, I quickly fell in love with the people, natural beauty, and energy of the Bay Area. I also gained a comprehensive, round-the-clock understanding of the two most basic states of our lives; sleep and wake.
I have worked as an outpatient psychiatrist as well as a consulting (hospital based) psychiatrist prior to my current private practice. My expertise is in the neurosciences, and an in-depth understanding of pharmacology allows me to find optimal and efficient solutions for my clients. Beyond psychopharmacology, I strongly believe in the power of the mind, and consistently encourage integrated solutions, beyond medication alone.
I strive to practice state-of-the-art medicine, and to always remain rooted in the human side of the work that I do.
