Alexandra Ruiz is a Doctorate in Family Nurse Practitioner prepared Family Nurse Practitioner who has lived in Lawrenceville all of her life. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University in 2011. Alex went on to work as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse at both DeKalb Medical and Northside Hospital and is RNC-OB certified. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University in 2014. She has a special interest in Women’s Health, as well as patient education.
In addition to serving patients at Lawrenceville Family Practice, Alex also works as a part-time Clinical Instructor at the Georgia Gwinnett College Nursing Program. She currently lives in Flowery Branch with Husband and two children and enjoys riding horses in her spare time. She joined our practice in January 2015.
