Dr Alexander Aizman graduated from NYU School of Medicine earning top honors in Medicine, Surgery, Neurology and Pediatrics Clerkships.
He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the world famous Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital- NYU Medical Center. During his final residency year he was selected as a Chief Resident at Bellevue Hospital.
Subsequently, Dr Aizman completed a two-year fellowship in Diseases and Surgery of the Retina and Vitreous, Uveitis and Ocular Oncology at the Kellogg Eye Center- University of Michigan Hospital, recognized as one of the top ten retinal centers in the USA.
Currently, Dr Aizman is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at NYU Medical Center and an Attending Physician on the Retina Service at Bellevue Hospital.
Dr Aizman is involved in various research projects at NYU and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. His scientific articles appeared in journals such as Ophthalmology, Archives of Ophthalmology and RETINA.
