Dr. Druif is an Urgent Care Provider. He received his bachelor of arts in chemistry with minors in biology and psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1997. Five years later, he pursued pre-professional and post-baccalaureate medical coursework at Florida Atlantic University and Miami-Dade Wolfson campus.
In 2007, Dr. Druif earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. He completed an internship in general surgery at Peninsula General Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY, followed by a family medicine residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. After finishing his residency in 2010, Dr. Druif provided medical care as a physician at RiteCare Medical Center in Miami, Florida before moving to New York to join Excel Urgent Care.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Druif is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He speaks fluent Dutch and is semi-fluent in Spanish and French.

It was not even this person that helped me. What is the point of reading a review if this is not even the person that will attend me? This doesn't mean that the doctor that took care of me was bad or anything but also this place came up wrongly in the search and due to that fact and me ignoring it was an urgent care place I ended up paying extra for urgen care...

I didn't see Dr. Druif, I saw Dr. Pechter, who was excellent. I had a lump on my calf. She sent me immediately for an ultra sound, the lump proved to be a blood clot. She followed through in every way imaginable, thought through all the alternatives. I was extremely pleased and grateful. Only wish I could make her my primary care doctor, but alas, this is an urgent care facility, and one I highly recommend. Thank You!

The Dr. was very friendly and showed a great deal of empathy. Used the information I gave to help find a better solution for me. Gave me tips of what to do to help my situation. Also, I called the office today to get some more advice and they were very helpful. A different doctor looked at my chart and called me back. Also very friendly and helpful.
