More about Dr. Alexander Elahi, DC
graduated from James Madison University with his Bachelor of Science in Physics with Honors. He then worked for several years as a high school physics teacher. It was during this time that he first injured his back while exercising and saw a chiropractor for the first time. His initial exposure to chiropractic showed him how this profession combined physics, sports, and education (his three main interests) into a single means in which to improve one’s quality of life. This led Dr. Elahi to go to Logan University where he earned both Doctor of Chiropractic and Master’s in Sports Science & Rehabilitation degrees with Honors. In addition, Dr. Elahi was selected for a competitive clinical rotation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD during the last two trimesters of his doctoral program. He furthered his education by getting trained in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, McKenzie Method, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Class IV Cold Laser, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Modalities, Functional Range Release, and Dry Needling. When not in the office, Dr. Elahi enjoys almost all outdoor activities (e.g. rucking/hiking, cycling, camping, etc.), movies, martial arts, and traveling with his girlfriend.
