Dr. Alixe Christie joins Womens OBGYN Care from the Jersey Shore University Medical Center where she completed her residency. She graduated from University of North Texas Health Science Center. She obtained both a DO and Masters of Science from the Health Science Center. She received her bachelor’s of science from Texas A&M where she studied biomedical sciences and psychology.
Dr. Christie has a special interest in high-risk pregnancy, minimally invasive surgery, adolescent gynecology, and contraception. She was awarded the Maternal Fetal Medicine award in residency and presented at national conferences throughout her residency. She strives to partner evidence based medicine with patient centered plans giving a level of care that is both proffesional and compassionate. Dr. Christie takes a genuine interest in her patients and their families and is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Christie holds memberships in the American Medical Association and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In her free time she enjoys traveling, yoga and spending time with her friends, family and dogs.
