Alexandra R Gotea ND, LAc, DSOM, RN is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist, who holds a Doctor of Science in Oriental Medicine. The long journey in the medical profession, was rooted in her becoming a registered nurse. Half a decade she provided compassionate nursing care in a high acuity hospital setting in New York City. This experience gave her the tools to ‘read’ the subtle nuances of each persons’ expression of dis-ease.
Her education was furthered by extensive training in Naturopathic Medicine, Classical Chinese Medicine which includes Chinese herbs and acupuncture.
She enjoys spending time in nature, wild crafting and making medicines, exploring traditional medicines form around the world, traveling, assisting and supporting initiatives that nourish Naturopathic and traditional medicines.

Dr Gotea is really thorough and makes sure you get to address all of your concerns. She also made a full plan for me and broke it down in a way I could understand. Very helpful!

Wonderful experience! I left feeling very confident that I had been properly examined for my annual exam, and grateful to have found someone so knowledgeable and willing to educate. The doctor was extremely courteous and a great listener. She took her time and made sure she understood all of my concerns before recommending a course of action.

Dr. Gotea was so friendly and warm! She called me to check in the same day I booked an appointment and she sent me forms and information on how to find her office. She was waiting at the office door when I arrived and promptly spent TWO HOURS going through my forms and medical history! I am very happy with the assessment she did and the formulas she prescribed to get some of my areas of health back in line. I haven’t been to a doctor in at least 3 years because I don’t feel like they’re ever very helpful or present. She was so present and thorough and energetically I felt like we really connected!
Finding a doctor is almost like finding a therapist for me, the struggle of finding one that i connect with seems like a giant mountain to climb! I got lucky this time and I am hoping to build a relationship with her and keep her around! so grateful!
