About Dr. Teja Surapaneni

Dr. Teja V. Surapaneni, MD, MS, is an ABIM board-certified internal medicine physician and Medical Director of YourMD Telehealth with United Medical Group. His hospital and telehealth experience and MS in Clinical Investigation from the University of Rochester inform his evidence-based, individualized approach to adult care. He provides telehealth consultations for adults 18 and older in Nevada, Washington, Oregon, and Wisconsin. Services include evaluation of common non-emergency symptoms, medication review and appropriate refills, preventive counseling, tobacco cessation, weight management, and follow-up for type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and stable heart failure in coordination with the patient's care team. He also evaluates men's health concerns, hair loss, and common skin concerns suitable for virtual assessment. Prescriptions and testing depend on clinical need; some concerns require an in-person examination. Initial fertility and preconception consultations include review of reproductive and medical history, medications, prior testing, and next steps. When appropriate, Dr. Surapaneni coordinates initial testing and referral to a local reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist or other appropriate specialist. Fertility procedures, imaging, and hands-on examinations are provided by local facilities and specialists. Visits focus on listening, clear explanations, and a practical care plan, with referrals and follow-up as needed. Telehealth is not an emergency service. The first consultation is $60 total, with no added tax, regardless of video, audio, chat, or asynchronous format. Established-patient general consultation rates are $50 video, $40 audio, and $20 chat or asynchronous messaging. Existing confirmed quotes and payments are honored. Laboratory testing, imaging, medications, specialist services, and optional treatment subscriptions are separate from the consultation fee.
